Good evening everyone, and welcome to the new week's thread.
Our new president will treat us to another exhorting, scolding speech Monday night as the Senate prepares to vote on the Depression and Mind-Boggling Deficit Act of 2009.
Meanwhile Sec Treasury Timothy Geithner, AKA The Treasury's Own Tax Cheat, will unveil yet another bank bailout Tuesday...but that could change...stay tuned.
I wonder if they would issue the same statement if it was a bitter white person. ;-)
Oh no!
Pray hard for our country.

To top it off, Free Republic cannot be reached via the school internet which we also use at our home. So, in order to be here, I have to use the expensive and slow dial-up.
That means, I’m getting off the ‘net now and may not be back for several hours.
Keeping you in my prayers !!!
I like the Canada Free Press because they report the news, unlike our press.
But this article! I knew we had one of the enemy sitting in the White House but it has surprised me just how swiftly he is replacing American values and way of life with those of his beloved Muslims. Will he use AF1 to transport them more rapidly? God help us!
Agree. The Dems see the Pubs as enemies, too. They are holding a grudge for the impeachment and the 2000 election.
It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if nobama had the questions at least a day before the “teleprompter reading”. Bernie Goldberg may think he’s a great communicator, I think he’s a good teelprompter reader.
Bit, not only do our elected royals go to military hopsitals in the DC area, with no appointment before hand, but their treatments are FREE. How about that???
I didn’t watch the teleprompter reading, as I cannot stand the sight of the arrogant spring walker, but repelled by his voice. Because he could answer the questions posed by the selected reporters, led me to believe he had the questions before the reading.
O’Reilly, tonight said some bank owns NBC, anyone else heard this?
I’m off, back to bed, I’m dizzy. Nite all. I’ve slept most of today...so boring.
Unreal, yet, believeable.
That’s real love between ole broadbeam and willy.
Get well soon, till. Take care.
An attractive young woman parked her pick-up outside the busy Stop N Save Mobil station on Route 44 in Raynham and calmly walked into the store where Shiva Paudyal was working.
She approached the counter and coolly pulled a long rifle or shotgun out of a black bag.
The first time I get robbed and its by a beautiful woman, Paudyal, 44, said a few hours after Monday's mid-afternoon armed holdup on Feb. 9.
(As if getting robbed by an ugly woman is preferable?)
The woman got away with about $500 to $600, mostly in small bills.
She was interrupted by a customer before trying to access the safe and calmly left the store.
Paudyal tried to make light of the incident after it was all over, mimicking her actions with the pointed weapon.
I dont know why people do things like that. If you work an hour a day in the United States, you can eat two meals, the Nepalese native said. Only in this country. You cant do that where I come from.
The woman was wearing a long black coat and was driving a black truck, probably a Dodge Ram, he said.
Her hair was too black to be natural and was probably a wig, Paudyal said.
I was recently reading my new insurance “book” for 2009 and they spelled out that a medical provider cannot demand that the patient pay and then expect that patient to collect from the insurance company. (It caught my eye because Walmart just tried to do that to me regarding new glasses.) Maybe your insurance provider has the same instructions?
Well, BO and Oprah just had their thunder stolen.
An hour after the Ft. Myers conference Chene Thompson, wife of State Rep Nick Thompson gave a house to Henrietta Hughes, the woman who cried to BO that she had been living in her truck with her son for the last year.
Just think of the good that Oprah could have done for BO if she had gotten there first! Sad, ain’t it?
