Our new president will treat us to another exhorting, scolding speech Monday night as the Senate prepares to vote on the Depression and Mind-Boggling Deficit Act of 2009.
Meanwhile Sec Treasury Timothy Geithner, AKA The Treasury's Own Tax Cheat, will unveil yet another bank bailout Tuesday...but that could change...stay tuned.
He had the questions before hand????? And he still said "UH"????? NO!!!!!

Unless we all stand up and shout our outrage and objection at this arrogant thin-skinned you-know-what's presumption that HE can do ("Yes WE CAN") as he pleases, then the blind sheep following him will succeed in bringing this nation to RUIN.
Of course I didn’t watch it nor listen, but I was under the impression that even the ‘answers’ to the questions were on teleprompter.
I heard this on health care for older folks, my life line. can’t afford any messing around on this BUT! ‘the most high one’ is going to put the hurts on us older folks.

And now I know what death warmed over looks like - I tuned in just as the scraggly ol’ hag (helen thomas) started to ask her question. I turned it immediately. What I saw was enough to give me nightmares.
Yes, it seemed that way to me, too. Nobama would take a question, then stumble a bit, then seem to find his place, almost like they needed time to locate and rolle a canned response. He is a terrible at extemporaneous question-and-response...;-))

I think that is exactly what was going on. I might actually watch when the first real test appears (such as when we get hit again) and they don’t have enough time to prepare and he is on his own. Sink or swim, Hussein. You wanted it bad. You are going to get it bad.

I visited there and tried to listen to a 'debate' in the history 'class' where students were seated 4 to the table....and even though I bent down to within 2 feet of the students at one of the tables I could not even hear what the students were saying because of the noisy roar inside of the building.
Bottom line: Walls WERE put up in this school later.
I am to the point that I can hardly watch news. That press conference was a joke, and why Americans like a guy who is angry, arrogant, condescending, and BORING is beyond me.
Maybe they think because he talks so much he's really smart.
Or maybe it's a generational thing, like nose rings and tatoos.
Frankly, I just don't get it. ANd no one in Congress seems to know the really bad stuff in this bill. If I can figure things out about the bill, as a 60-year old housewife, then why can't Congress do so when that is their job, and they have staff besides?
Well, enough of my ranting. I was out driving this morning and saw a car with two bumper stickers: "Obama" and "Proud parent of a sailor." I wanted to put a 3rd sticker on it whicih said "I AM A MORON."
Sure enough, 5 years later they put walls in.

I heard this morning that Pres. Bush did that too. Ari Fleischer was speaking on FNF and stated this.
