Boy, I bet he feels stupid. Everyone knows that taxes are just for the little people (and for Obama nominees that get caught).
Obama is going to have to make it up to Daschle by sending some pork to Daschle’s lobbying clients.

Bush probably is laughing his butt off. How many tax cheats are we up to so far??? I guess Obama thinks he could get away with appointing these people and the public would look the other way.
I am most outraged at the guy who is suppose to be in charge of the IRS.

Guess what, Obama? Already even your most ardent supporters are seeing what a farce your idea of ethics reform are. First making an exception on the new hiring of former lobbyists for the Lynn nomination. Then the various tax scoundrels including Geithner, Nancy Killefer, now Daschle. And let's not forget the Bill Richardson thang and tangentially the Caroline Kennedy fiasco.
The thing that is so damaging about the Daschle episode is that Obama and Co. knew Daschle had learned of the "mistake" in June and yet did not fess up until nominated, the guy is the former Senate majority leader, and Obama idiotically gave a complete thumbs up just yesterday.
Clearly a mix of entitlement, arrogance, and idiocy.
