AMERICA-The Right Way: Staying Vigilant!(Feb. 2- Feb 6, 2009)
Various news sources and FReepers | 2/1/09 | All of Us

Good evening everyone.

Statism continues to run amok in Washington.

The O administration is set to soon unveil a Big Bank Bank Bailout...more debt onto debt for as far as we can see.

But a ray of hope: there are hints that some Dems as well as the Rs in the Senate have qualms about the Depression & Huge Deficit Act of 2009 which passed the House last week.

So we shall see.

Meanwhile we can have a lottery: how many Executive Orders will the new president sign THIS week??

I’m in the same boat as lysie. I wear hearing aids and when Mark began talking so fast and laughing, I couldn’t understand one word he said. But he was having fun with the daschle mess. How in the world can a man use a driver and limo for 2/3/4 years and think it was for free? Surly he or his accountant was given a 1099 for the driver and limo. ? He said he “thought”? it was a gift from a friend? Come on, in DC, I think “friends” do not give $225,000.00 gifts over a number of years. Voting Americans were born, but not yesterday...even democrats will have to snicker over this one.

Did I read correctly, the mess-I-iah is considering guinier to replace daschle? She has a truck load of similar baggage...remember during the clinton appointments, she too had some maid and other financial problems.

Good morning.

I can’t seem to get on the thread this AM. The school’s satellite internet is down and I’m on sloth-slow dial-up. I can just barely get to “my comments” so I can post to y’all, but the thread takes soooooooooooooo loooooooooong to post.

Palin will be president by then.

And I would still be sitting over here in the jungle waiting on the thread.

You betcha.

Yes, he’s right. Too many of our “news people” try and force feed their opinions to their reading and listening public. They don’t report the news, they read the news then print what they’ve read, through their opinioned minds. The tv dispensers try and make the news, by asking a question more ways than one, trying to get the answer they want to hear, then report what they’ve heard. Too many of our “news people” report what they’ve heard from another “news person” without checking the truth of the information. Many people buy the local papers for the obituary page, just to make sure their name isn’t there. Thankfully Roomey and I have not seen our names.

I buy the Sunday paper for the coupons. When redeemed they pay for the paper and then some.

lysie, that’s what I do. Otherwise, the Washington Post would never grace the inside of my door. But then there are some things the paper is good for: wrapping garbage, lining trash cans, lining kitty liter boxes, insulation, a good laugh...

Thanks you, darling. That looks almost like what I truly am having for breakfast.

Hey! Did y’all see the thread on the news side? The court has ruled that approximately 5000 absentee ballots in the Coleman - Franken(stein) race CAN BE COUNTED! This is good news.

I notice that whoever wrote all the jazz about Guinier in the Daschle’s replacement article neglected to say anything about the fact that she had problems with social security payments for an IIRC illegal. Why would they nominate someone who is going to get bombed?

HI kind lady, it is going to get cold here on the MS Gulf Coast, MS tonight, suppose to get into the 20’s here, that is cold even in yankee land. I can tough it out, I will fight the cold, protect the chickens, keep the dogs warm, that is IF they have sense to get in the barn. I can assure you, my little ‘shack in the back’ will be cozy.

Been baby sitting over in the big house today, kids had to go and file their income taxes, get them done, etc., etc., etc. I don't bother with them, well, kinda, I go by and sign them tomorrow at the same place kids had them done, it sounds tough, like I ain't gonna, etc. But, sounding and doing are two different things.

Gotta go and watch the kids again, must sign out for now.

The lib owners/editors could become successful again if they’d report news instead of force-feeding us with their opinions. I don’t think they are capable of that, do you? Their egos and loyalties are tied to politics.

Nope, I don't think they are capable of that. That's why we are witnessing the total destruction of the the newspaper business, to be resurrected when the old-style types get back in, if they ever do.

I thought it was interesting, though, because it demonstrates how everything liberals have infiltrated and then taken over has been completely corrupted and wrecked once they gained control: Education, the Media, the Law, even (especially) Home Owners Associations....;-))

It will if it keeps Caligula from getting a filibuster-proof senate. If he does get that, it is EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!
