AMERICA-The Right Way: Staying Vigilant!(Feb. 2- Feb 6, 2009)
Various news sources and FReepers | 2/1/09 | All of Us

Good evening everyone.

Statism continues to run amok in Washington.

The O administration is set to soon unveil a Big Bank Bank Bailout...more debt onto debt for as far as we can see.

But a ray of hope: there are hints that some Dems as well as the Rs in the Senate have qualms about the Depression & Huge Deficit Act of 2009 which passed the House last week.

So we shall see.

Meanwhile we can have a lottery: how many Executive Orders will the new president sign THIS week??

OMG! The Cardinals just scored on a strike from Warner to Fitzgerald and now, after the Steeler safety, it’s 23-20 Arizona...;-))

And NOW, get this: Pittsburgh just threw the most amazing Super Bowl pass to score a touchdown with 35 seconds left, Pittsburgh now leading 27-23!!!

And, he almost did the same thing in reverse in the other end of the end zone before that! I hope they got a couple of camera angles on the catch, it is up there with Lynn Swann’s, etc....;-))

And so much depended on his feet touching the ground while he was falling. Talk about tension! What an ending.

Exciting game all the way around.

I will have to say that my favorite commercial was the Bud one at the beginning. People sitting around the board room trying to figure how they can cut costs. (They're all drinking Bud...) One guy mentions cut out buying beer for the meetings. He's thrown out the high story building.

That was hilarious.

It was amazing... I thought it was going to be a blowout. The Cards came back and did a great job.

Someone on there mentioned one company’s 2 second commercial. What was that, do you know? I think it was another brewery.

I did like the Show Off one where the Clydesdale ran out and fetched back a limb to compete with the dog. Must have been tied to his chin because I don’t think a horse can carry in his mouth like that, can he? I know.......picky picky......LOL.

I liked the Clydesdale ome as well.

Don't know if he could carry that weight as well, or whether it was a prop.

Have a great night.

I was pulling for the Cardinals. It bugged me all season long when the players wore Gene Upshaw's initials on their jerseys, yet the Cardinals were fined by the NFL a few years ago for wearing Pat Tillman's number on their helmets.

I'll always believe that Pat Tillman did more for this country than Gene Upshaw could ever imagine.

I’m here, on duty, as long as the internet and the electricity remain on. Both are dicey.

electicity is holding out, the internet is crappy. I’ve switched over to the dial-up. The school tech guy is coming out in the morning to see what’s up with the net.

Cool. I almost called you to test my phone. But, I thought that might freak you out. So, I let that slide.

I’m switching off dial-up. If things don’t go faster soon, I’m quitting.
