Thanks, you too!

Yeah, my work is cut out. Will be for the next 4-5 months. :) I really enjoy helping people garden/learn to garden.

Think I’m going to get some chicks this year. Haven’t ahd any for awhile. Asked #2 to clean his/his father’s nets and coolers and junk out of my chicken coop. He rolled his eyes and said—I’d rather build you a new one! They have LOTS of fishing junk! Might try one of those smaller coops that you can move around as needed. Hmmmm.....

Who does this song?

I'm not sure who else sings it but Michael Buble does a wonderful job of it. I just really like his work.

but I didn’t think your post was ‘silly’ - it’s cute and that graphic is so SWEET!

I googled 'You and I' and that graphic came up. It wasn't what I had in mind (maybe a couple hugging), it tickled me and I couldn't resist posting it. It still makes me laugh when I look at it.

Are you getting the chicks for pets or for food? Just interested.

We used to get chicks for our boys and then here would come grandmother with a baby chick. We would raise them up so far and then find someone with a farm or land and unload them. We were in the city, etc. and didn’t have much choice. We also experienced the ducks too. There is nothing we won’t do when we are raising our kids, is there?

I look back though now and it was so much fun and such a happy time. Those three chickens we had at one time would roost on the fence at back. They sorta ran free in the backyard for a while and acted like they knew exactly where they belonged. The neighbors next door were older than we were at that time and I don’t think they thought it was so cute. We finally found them a home...(it was sad to see them go)!

Hi Dixie, I'm doing alright, looking forward to the springtime. We want to go back to Charleston one day soon to visit the A L Hunley and eat at Hanks Seafood restaurant again.

You are so lucky that spring comes early there, are you seeing any flowers yet?

Isn’t that a beautiful picture of President Reagan and his beloved Nancy. They so loved each other.

Today, if you listen to the media, O. and M. are the only couple in the White House who ever loved each other.....give me a break. She would crack him upside the head if he made her mad.

Chocolate Tortini looks a lot like Lava Cake. I made some tonight but they didn’t turn out right. No problem, we ate them anyway. :)

Fresh eggs, and maybe meat. we’ll see how it goes. LOL I’ve done the chicken thing, swore I’d never do it again. The eggs are fabulous. If I...eat...any of them, I’m skinning them. I refuse to pluck chickens ever again!

I’m thinking Buff Orpingtons this time. I’ve always had Rhode Island Reds and Plymouth Rocks. #2 son wanted chickens a couple years ago. They became mine after about 3 weeks. LOL We’ll see how it goes. Our chick orders are already coming in fast and furious. I guess everyone is getting more concerned about the economy.

Besides, Peyton will love them! He adores the greenhouse and our garden.

There's no cat like Ben A. Drill but Bill's not the only manic cat.

He's just the one whose name rhymes with Benadryl.

You can always come through with something hilarious.

Some things get us going and some just speed through the mind without a second thought. Using this logic, the nose apparently turns me on.

Don't pay any attention to this as I am playing with Billie's tables again. I forgot how to make it snow...LOL! But I will tell you my last Sheltie was identical to this one.

“Love of a Lifetime” is a favorite of mine. Krinek is a
pretty obscure artist I guess...I had to buy the CD to
download it! LOL!
