Where were you born Mr. Obama? This was the question raised in an article by Diana West, a columnist for the Washington Times on Dec. 20, 2008. In her article, she attempted to summarize the background of the Obama birth certificate controversy. This article should be of primary interest to all U.S. citizens because our Constitution requires that our president must be a natural-born citizen of the U.S. This raises the question: Is Mr. Obama a natural-born citizen of the U.S.? None of the information provided to date answers this question. With all the investigative agencies in this country and the ever-nosy media, nobody has been able to secure a copy of the original Obama birth certificate.
What does Mr. Obama's original birth certificate say? Why hasn't Mr. Obama authorized the release of his original birth certificate and put an end to all these questions; unless of course, he has something to hide? Diana West goes on to say, and I agree, that it is nothing less than good citizenship to seek and verify that Mr. Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen since our elites and the mainstream media failed to bring this important matter to its extremely simple resolution long ago. Instead, we the people only have online access to an Obama document known as a Certification of Live Birth which is a computer generated short form not even accepted by the Hawaii Department of Home Land as adequate verification of Hawaiian identity. The Department of Home Land requires information that is found only on the long original Certification of Live Birth or long form. That still leaves us with the question: Are you a natural-born U.S. citizen Mr. Obama? We will know the answer only when Mr. Obama releases his original birth certificate to the proper authorities. Failure to do so will only create a questionable suspicious aura around this entire matter and leave the voters wondering just who they voted for in the first place.

Yes, but the MSM also gave Obama the credit for correcting Roberts, when it was Roberts who corrected himself, and Obama who failed to follow the correction.
It’s not clear whether it’s been actually removed from the SCOTUS docket. Could be an error by the clerk or it’s being placed into another category (I don’t know).

Reminds me of the frog in pot of water. Realize that Congress, especially their leftist leaders, will create a lot of the upcoming mess and a better congress in 2010 could help stop Obama.

The issue is still alive. The Anderson amicus brief regarding the military taking orders is the one SCOTUS is thinking aboiut the most. They affirmed it. there is a reason they affirmed it and a reason why it concerns them.

I’d posit that it’s equally likely that he WAS born in Hawaii.....but the long-form has his “religion” as “Muslim” due to his father being a muslim......just as MY long-form says I’m a Lutheran because my mother was a Lutheran......even though I’ve never been a Lutheran.

Every major city in this country would be on fire.
It wouldn’t be in the best interest of the country to subject it to the damage that would be done, especially with the economic problems we’re already experiencing.
