We're down to the last few days of the Bush Presidency. Who among us doesn't have some concern about our nation's security in the months ahead? And will those who criticized the President so constantly on this front not come to recognize the margin of safety he gave us?

Israel continues to destroy Hamas terrorist sites and agents in Gaza,sadly, much to the world's apparent dismay and loathing.

West Coast Hello—probably everyone all signed off now. I missed the President’s speech. Watching basketball now—even that has the Obama love fest on as the Oregon team’s coach is Michelle’s brother.

MSgt, I'm sweet as the day I was born, and pure as the driven snow (not that we see any here).

I must digress, but the rumors that my mother fed me on rattlesnake milk and hob-nails is just silly....

Who would need hob-nails in Texas, when you can just pluck up a thorn, and hammer it into a boot for free. Iron nails cost money back then.

It's all good here. I got a little time, a little money and feel the need to be silly.
