JANUARY 6--In a bizarre incident that will surely lead to litigation (or an out-of-court settlement), a skier at Colorado's ritzy Vail resort was left dangling upside down and pantsless from a chairlift last Friday morning.

A bit more than 15 minutes.
Nothing will ruin your day like having your dangly bits for all to see shown on The Drudge report for the afternoon on a slow news day.
LOL My dangly bits may cause a epidemic similar to Bird Flu.
The guy didn’t have to bad a butt...oops...did I say that?
At least he kept his hat on . . .
OMG!
He, and his dangly bits, are now immortal ! Thanks to the web.
On the positive side, this kind of web exposure really ups his claim to massive pain and suffering. No jury will deny him.
Brittle and bent like a bow...

After a minute or two like that I am sure it was more “turtle like”.
It looks like a detachable chair. Those thinks move along at .25 mph when loading. Plenty of time to look at the condition of the seat before sitting down. If it looks bad, just skate forward and to the side. Lift attendants generally have nothing to do at those lifts but to select the next song, eat their lunch and check lift tickets.
There is no reason to humiliate this man !!....
We have truly become a sick society...
..and I mean all of us!
The only way this poor guy could be humiliated would be to show his face....otherwise he is safe, as long as he keeps his pants up. ROTFL
Didn't the story say he entered the ski lift with a child...
Whoever took the photo is pathetic and Drudge is pathetic for showing it.
How would Drudge feel if his 'parts' were dangled in front of the world to see.
How would YOU feel?
Hold Ma Beer.
I do feel sorry for the guy, however, it happened. So far no une has published his name.
If it were me, I would be mortified. Months from now, I hope this guy will look back and laugh at it. best thing for him.
You cannot see his face at all ( you did LOOK at the pictures, right ?) and there is no way to identify him.
Vail probably had 20,000 skiers that day, so he remains anonymous. It's such a huge resort (over 50 chair lifts), and he was in one of the back bowls, which aren't visited by many. Probably only the chair before and after saw what happened, and the guy who skiied by with a cell phone. And none of those possible contacts would have any way of knowing his name.
I would not have posted it if there was any way to id him, or even if you could have seen his face in the photos.
He will likely settle with Vail Resorts for a huge amount. Heck, we are probably even helping him out. Having the picture on Drudge ought to be worth a few million at least.
I did, and am very sorry I saw it..!!
Poor guy....can't even have a deeply embarrassing moment without some jerk taking the picture.
You can believe his name will surface....and he'll never live this down.
And if that was his kid in the ski lift with him, she will be a laughingstock too, at school.
Nice world we live in.
That is TOO funny. Thanks for the laugh!
Why is Aspen too expensive? Are the ski lift fees higher?
Normally when skiing balls out means you are going very fast, but in this case ouch.
If this poor Dude with the bad karma is Catholic I hoped he gets his time in Purgatory shortened after this.
They took pictures? Poor bastard.
