You cannot see his face at all ( you did LOOK at the pictures, right ?) and there is no way to identify him.
Vail probably had 20,000 skiers that day, so he remains anonymous.It's such a huge resort (over 50 chair lifts), and he was in one of the back bowls, which aren't visited by many. Probably only the chair before and after saw what happened, and the guy who skiied by with a cell phone. And none of those possible contacts would have any way of knowing his name.
I would not have posted it if there was any way to id him, or even if you could have seen his face in the photos.
He will likely settle with Vail Resorts for a huge amount. Heck, we are probably even helping him out. Having the picture on Drudge ought to be worth a few million at least.

Poor guy....can't even have a deeply embarrassing moment without some jerk taking the picture.
You can believe his name will surface....and he'll never live this down.
And if that was his kid in the ski lift with him, she will be a laughingstock too, at school.
