Good morning!
The weekend theme: TURMOIL...in the MidEast and among the Dems. One is extremely dangerous and consequential, and the other is at least entertaining to us conservatives
Hope your Christmas/New Year's was as enjoyable and relaxing as mine was.
Hi there!...Now back to dreamland for a few extra winks...
Good morning, everyone!
Now..back to bed for a few. Must gear up for a football weekend!! Love it!
JP
Up and at em here. Another weather system is pushing in from the plains will bring in more snow and freezing rain.
The crazy winters around here make spring that much more delicious when it comes.
Everything is ready for the show down with the Colts. I will give up some sleep time, to watch the game. "GO CHARGERS"
JP
Good morning.
Who won the Utah/Alabama game last night?
Harry Reid contacted Blagojevich to tell him that he didn’t want him to nominate Jesse Jackson, Jr., Danny Davis (both congressmen) or Emil Jones. Blagojevich nominated Roland Burris, whom Harry Reid has said he would block.
Can you guess what Jackson, Davis, Jones, and Burris all have in common?
Reid says they aren’t “electable” in a state-wide race. That’s a weak explanation, since Illinois already elected Carol Mosely Brown and Barack Obama to the Senate.
I really, really want Reid put on the hot seat over this, on television in prime time. Let him explain why FOUR black men were unacceptable to him.
And with that bit of news, I am going back to bed for a bit.
Utah. I don’t remember the score.
This year the playoffs are wide open.
Thanks, Jem.......
How are you feeling today?
I’m holding my own. I woke up very early and would like to get back to sleep. If I can avoid getting to woken up during the night, I’ll drift back to sleep, but I began coughing and so, that pushed me too much into wakefulness. Big sigh.
The SEC seems to be doing adequately well in the bowl games. I have to admit I was a bit conflicted last night. I want an SEC team to win, never want to get beat by an outsider, but it was BAMA! LOL!
More bowl games today (I think).
The experts are saying that the Colts and Chargers are the teams to worry about. They have peaked at the right time.
It's anyone chance, to go all the way. How hungry are they?
JP
Always root for SEC teams but know what you mean.
Was happy about the GA win........Liked that Iowa won, too.
I am now. Slept in this morning.
Good Morning Everyone. There's an ice storm looming North of us. I hope the weather straightens up enough that we can get out of here next week.
This is a never-ending nightmare of sewer filth CRAT. :((
The clinton years were paradise compared to this nightmare.
And that's why we need this site more than ever. We must stay together. It's little matter if we have a few small differences of opinions because when it gets down to it...the big ones that matter we agree on.
We need to regroup, folks!
Well, the year is starting, what will we face (political) and somehow I do NOT think we are going to agree with what is on the plate.
I read that one of you said something about out of the Clinton years but guess what, going BACK into them, look at the appointments he and Bill made (convinced of this) and what are we to do? Kick some turncoat pubs out of Washington and put some new blood in, folks with backbones being that a lot of the so called ‘elected pubs’ lost theirs.
The weather here is cloudy and rain, lots of fog too, in the 60’s, 70’s and NO forecast of s***, kids sure want to see some more however.
MUST go on a diet (still leftovers so will be a future goal) and get more exercise, really don't feel like doing much but do ride that bike that goes nowhere, get on the machine to walk and make no process in distance at all. Got to be my #1 goal, have gained 15 pounds since my operations and this is a no-no. Have to confess, my right hand and arm gets plenty of work out.
Just wanted to get my day started, will go back to reading and listen to the pity patter of the rain on my ‘shack in the back’, fix just one more cup of coffee and be lazy.
Toby
Er, you left off one, OLE MISS! THEY won, hope it is a sing of the old times, winners, etc.
