Harry Reid contacted Blagojevich to tell him that he didn’t want him to nominate Jesse Jackson, Jr., Danny Davis (both congressmen) or Emil Jones. Blagojevich nominated Roland Burris, whom Harry Reid has said he would block.
Can you guess what Jackson, Davis, Jones, and Burris all have in common?
Reid says they aren’t “electable” in a state-wide race. That’s a weak explanation, since Illinois already elected Carol Mosely Brown and Barack Obama to the Senate.
I really, really want Reid put on the hot seat over this, on television in prime time. Let him explain why FOUR black men were unacceptable to him.
And with that bit of news, I am going back to bed for a bit.
This is a never-ending nightmare of sewer filth CRAT. :((
The clinton years were paradise compared to this nightmare.
Reid, a certified whimp.
I’ve always thought there was a separation between the federal and state governments. It seems the federal government elitists are now telling an elected governor what it can and can’t do.
Some time back, there was some sort of an investigation in IL about the “new” administration’s top guy and his chief of staff, it was about to be published, but the newspaper beat the publication with the investigation and news release about Blagojevich instead. Did I dream reading this or was there really something out there? Bit, you’re usually up on stuff like this...have you heard anything?
OH, 2/3s there’s an article over on the News articles about the kenyian birth.
