I make lima bean with ham soup occasionally. I just cook the lima beans until they become soup instead of beans. :)

Whatever kind you make, I know you will enjoy it!

Look at those gorgeous cows... reminds me of the baby, the calf I saw being born this past September. That’s a lovely scene.

Good afternoon, Dita.
Happy Friday! An Amy's Place Field Trip sounds like fun.

Hope you are having warmer weather than we are.
The hi temp today is suppose to be 46 ... too cold for me.

Have a good day and a Wonderful Weekend.

Thanks, Dita.

That looks like a peaceful, relaxing location. Reminds me of novels I’ve read with an Ireland setting.

"I love lima beans."

So do I ... I have some ham in the freezer that I plan to cook with a crockpot of lima beans.

I will either make biscuits or cornbread. :^)

Gotta run. TTYL

Lori, I thought of you when the news came across about the earthquake last night. It occurred to me you had said you live in that area? Am I correct and did you feel it?

I do not know ANYTHING about the Twilight series, nothing at all. I never ventured much into fantasy or scifi... just a little bit of Dune. Haha. I don’t read much fiction but was enjoying my Fannie Flagg books last year.

Lately, I am reading on military subjects and crime. Sometimes, for escapism, I read mysteries especially Tony Hillerman and anything in that locale.

Are you talking about the quake that hit the San Bernadino area yesterday? No, I live far to the north, about an hours drive north of Bakersfield. We didn't feel it at all here. Did you feel it? San Bernadino would be closer to where I think you are than to us.

I like Tony Hillerman also (is it the attraction of the desert?). I read purely for escapism. My tastes in books are all over the place, except I am not big on the Gothic romance novels and I have never, ever read a Danielle Steele novel.

The kids are just soooo obsessed over the Twilght book and movie, so I had to see what it was about. I also read the Harry Potter books, for the same reason. ;-)

Oh okay... me mixed up:)

I didn’t feel it. Supposedly, it was felt as close as Beverly Hills though.

I meant to mention I looked at your homepage and it is outstanding!! Very fine.

Thank you.

I took it down after the election. It was childish, I know, but all I left on my profile was the black background because that's the way I felt......depressed. I put everything back last week. Guess I've gotten over my black mood and am reminded that God is in his Heaven and all will be well, no matter how bleak things look to us here.

“What is Red”: Author unknown ... (Erk!)

Your poet appears to be Mary O’Neill.
