Read through the previous "Are you looking for a job?" threads for tips and ideas. I have gathered all the resources from them to this thread.

I need it! My last day at my job of 13 years is Tuesday.
From the looks of the responses, once again this thread was well worth the few moments it took me to post it.
Thanks bump.
Right on! That's almost as good as one job paying 12 figures!

LOL!
Guess it would also depend on the definition of "figure" and "decimal point."

Mine was October 29th. I have sent over 100 resumes out for jobs in San Antonio. I am an IT Manager, IT Project Manager. I haven’t received one call back.
If anyone has taken the PMP exam, please contact me. It looks like I am going to need the certification before I get a phone call back.
Funny, been doing this for 23 years and it’s the first time I am out of work.

The more precisely you planned your future, the harder that this temporary unemployment will hit you. Flexibility must be the order of the day.
If someone offers you a job in a grocery store, take it because you never know whom you’ll meet while working there.
Soon to re-enter the IT workforce bump (impeccable timing, eh?)
Have you considered the following:
I also had a problem a few years ago when I was looking for a job that I was targeting the wrong position. After 20 years of Technical Management and Technical Operations experience, no one wanted to look at me for that type of position. As soon as I changed my target to an Enterprise Architecture/CTO position, the offers flew in. Perhaps you're having a similar issue?
Best of luck to you.
Thanks for adding in that tip about how one should format their resume. That type of thing is important as you so well know.

Bump
Bump for those in need. Good job on putting list together.
Bookmarked...(just in case)!
