We were looking for electrical engineers willing to move to E. Texas for over a year. Finally found two.

Been looking for a sales engineer as well. Could only affort to pay in the 70’s though and every qualified candidate who applied was asking for over $100K. Finally had to fill the position from within.

I have just built a new type of Job Search engine that might be worth a try. It searches 4 job search sites at once. The results come out in a split panel... then you can open any jobs you like in a new window, or even move the panes around.

Try it.

Mega Job Search

You simply select four Job Search sites from the checklist and search them for your keyword(s).

Get her to go throug the RN program. Better chances, better pay. I’m not sure what the AAS qualifies her for, maybe only LNA.

For good RN jobs, go to rural areas. There are three nurses in my family. There is never a lack of hours for them. Night shifts pay premiums. Don’t overlook psych wards and old folks homes.

My mother also worked in a 6 month geographically rotating program whereby she was stationed in Gallup NM, Key West FL, and Houston. For a younger person, I think this woul dbe an attraction. She received stipends for housing.

Long term, I think she’ll do well in nursing, just ensure she gets to the RN level.

Long term, get her out of NYC. What you’re seeing is not typical.
