Careers

View: “ Where Leaders Go To Work”

As the largest investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a law enforcement agency. Our mission is to protect America and uphold public safety by targeting the people, money and materials that support terrorist and criminal activities. ICE enforces the nation’s customs and immigration laws and provides security for federal buildings.

Our enforcement mission is carried out by a wide variety of law enforcement, security and intelligence professionals - all of whom have the opportunity to make a personal contribution to the safety and security of our country. In addition to the core law enforcement occupations, there are also hundreds of professional and administrative functions that support the ICE mission. ICE has approximately 15,000 employees working in 400 offices nationwide and over 50 locations internationally.

Criminal Investigators (Special Agent)
At the present time, ICE is not actively recruiting for entry-level Criminal Investigators (Special Agents). Once recruiting commences again, entry-level Criminal Investigators will be recruited through direct contact with Special Agent Recruiters located with each of ICE’s Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Offices. These vacancies will not be posted on the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) USA Jobs Web site. If you are interested in becoming an ICE Criminal Investigator, contact the nearest Special Agent in Charge Office when we are actively recruiting and ask for the “Special Agent Recruiter.” Main phone numbers for each ICE SAC Office are listed under Contact Us. If you meet the basic qualifications and if ICE is actively recruiting Special Agents, the recruiter will advise you of the next steps in the application process.

Other ICE Vacancies
All current ICE job vacancies, with the exception of Criminal Investigators, are posted on Office of Personnel Management’s USA Jobs Web site. The number of available positions varies weekly as vacancies close and new jobs are added.

Saw your link on another thread. Do you have anything for "The Golden Triangle"?
As I told another poster "This area has become very tight lately and the "brother-in-law/friends and family" factor has risen exponentially!"

“Hard Rock looking for locals
Park has 750 positions, official says”

By Jessica Foster

SNIPPET: “Job seekers, here’s some good news: Hard Rock Park will be hiring soon for its May opening.

Ride operators, ticket-takers and performers will be needed to staff the theme park, and the new owner, FPI MB Entertainment, says it will need to fill 750 jobs.

The park will start accepting applications online and at the park in March, giving first dibs to people who worked at the park last year, according to park spokeswoman Erin Barrett. Until then, people can send resumes to Human Resources, 211 George Bishop Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579, and those resumes will be kept on file. The park plans to open by Memorial Day weekend.”
