We are busy planning, stocking up. Creating stashes of survival goods, learning new skills. The producers are scaling back production. Why produce if it will be stolen and redistributed?
How do you propose we fight the 52% of Americans that have gone insane? If we managed to get millions to march on Washington, do you see it making a difference? Think they will listen then?
We plan on starving the beast. That is the option that keeps popping up. Many will be hurt and wiped out financially, even those that don’t deserve it.
I think that America is prime for this Nazi style takeover just for the simple arrogance which is shown by “be realistic, it can’t happen here”.

The foundation has already been laid.
Sometime after January 21, 2009 there will begin a sreies of “Reichstag fires” the media will begin demonizing and inciting public opinion against certain segments of the population such as Christians, legitimate gun owners,Conservative talk radio, Conservatives and White males, demanding that the governmental authorties take action against them. Later the will expand to include Jews, property owners,others.
The voting public should have leared a lesson about Joe the Plumber wa treated but they never gave a damn. They were too interested in what their savior was going to give them for free.

Let’s use other language, I agree, but the point is valid and you and those who agree should say so. But do add the valid criticism regarding the “Hitler/Nazi” thing.
My overall point is that 0bama is a tool to move us further towards a leftist paradigm shift.
If we don’t look at the environment right now and realize that the foundation is being set for fundamental changes to our freedom then it is done. We won’t be able to change it back later — not without bloodshed.
Do you suppose the left is just kidding around? Do you think the Democrats won’t raise your taxes until your ears bleed? Do you think they’re bluffing regarding the “Fairness Doctrine”/censorship? What about nationalizing big companies, just mess’n with ya?
Is there some all-powerful being that “regulates” the flow and progress of a cancer like socialism? Someone that says “Hold on, we have reached full capacity on the socialism meter.” and thus halts the masses cries for “help” and “protection” and the power mongers lust for power?
What happened to ALL other societies that got this far down this road? How easy is it to remove the masses from the gov’t nipple once they latch on? Just you try to end Social Security, Medi-Care, Fannie and Freddie and any of the socialistic programs that are bankrupting us.

Chaos is the default in this universe — order, the exception. We fight to further freedom and individual rights or we lose them — there is no in between — forward and reverse is ALL THERE IS.
If they succeed in marginalizing the right, then who do you suppose they will end up fighting? Is it possible for you to conceive that the HARD-left will begin to gain power? That the communists (these are real people with a real agenda, not boogeymen), under whatever name they have for themselves nowadays, gain unprecedented power in the US?
Twenty years ago if you said a black socialist with ties to domestic terrorists who had a racist pastor for twenty years and who states that he wants to “spread the wealth around” would not only be a candidate for POTUS but hugely popular and WOULD WIN, most would have called you a crackpot.
Well, I’m the “crackpot” telling you now that things are shaping up to change in ways you simply cannot imagine right now.
You are stubborn fools in denial if you think it can’t happen here — it’s happening right now.
Are you going to wait until bad things are happening to your family and loved-ones? Is that when you will decide that they are serious and freedom is indeed fragile and, in no way, guaranteed to Americans by the creator?
If nothing like this could happen to omnipotent America then why did the founders put such effort into attempting to prevent it?
Then why have a constitution, separation of powers, the Bill of Rights?
It “can’t happen here” so why even bother with all of this?
