Im not trying to hide, you may know right up front that I am a very liberal democratic. I know of your site from DU. If your policy requires deleting this post, then it will only be a small waste of my time.
I have had a rough eight years. Not financially, I do OK. Not in personal loss, I have lost no one I know or love to either of these tragic costly wars. No, Im not someone who can claim a direct path between my misery and W. My disdain for this president, his inner circle, Republicans on the hill and every last person responsible for the affront to ideals I hold personally important, they have cost ME little. No Not me. I cry for those whose lives have suffered directly through these long eight years. I include most of you in that group. Most people have been directly affected by policy over the last eight years, and for most, it has been tough.
So, as we move past what I consider a blight on our nations character, I expect you to perceive the reverse to be true. Im not going to be able to write anything to change your perception. If Obama wins, you will feel bad. You will feel left out. It is my personal hope that all us liberals that have felt so bad, crushed and left out will be able to show you something new. You will still disagree with us, I dont expect that to change. I do expect me, and my fellow democrats to not make you feel the same despair we suffered. Change is coming. You will not like some of it. It is our responsibility to reach out to our opponents, and not make them feel ignored, dismissed, or anything like we have had to feel for eight long years.
When, if, Obama wins. I hope you can share in positive change. I hope you see direct benefits in your lives.
Um, you’re a Democrat, not a Democratic.
There. Fixed it for ya.
It means “In Before the Zot”.
Awesome post! (((appalause)))
As a reformed liberal myself, I can very much appreciate everything you said.
Peace through Strength

Why not just say, I disagree with you.
Too easy. That’s why.
Your name is on the list. Fear the knock
Get lost you worthless p.o.s.
Oh, nevermind - - you’re already gone. HA-ha.
It means "In Before The Zot," much fun before the troll gets banned. It means time for the kitties to play with their prey.
Welcome to FR. Zots are great fun.
Get on darkwing104's ping list and stay off his bad side. You'll have a lot of fun here.
Old Sarge and Allegra are great folks to know too.
If you have any stories about socks, run them by Allegra. She's the expert.
Wow..... I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many well-formed expletives conglomerated into a single (and humorous) statement, ever.
You should be paid by the word. That was masterful.
Please consider adding this post to the Free Republic Greatest Hits list.
Thank you,
Windflier
Yeah, well...
I really can’t take full ctedit for that..
It was from a post made several years ago That I saved, and use now and again for those worhy of a good rant...
But thanks....
They’re all tossers.....
Yes, add to best of, but please do not attribute to me (even though I would relish the notability ...,. :-) )

Happy Halloweenie!
Thanks..I see a zillion typos in it now. I wrote it about four years ago. Guess I should check my work better but what I want to say just blurts out without much attention to detail. I gave my English Composition prof fits. LOL.
Anyhow...if it helps a few liberals to understand it’s worth making a fool of myself. :)
Why not? Don't tell me you didn't write it?
Hmm... I must have missed the quotation marks in that case. I thought it was yours.
Incredible rant, anyway.
No,
Regretfully not.
I recycle it now and again when required.
I have added to it,, but can not claim it as my own....
You talk about the people who have suffered from the rule of this administration, from the wars we have fought under them. Let me tell you about one of those families.
Neil Petsche was a fine young man from Lena, Illinois, a town just down the road from me. He was an Eagle Scout, and became a Marine. He was eager for his second tour in Iraq because he loved the Iraqi people and wanted to help them. Unfortunately, he was killed in a Humvee rollover a few days before Christmas in 2004.
I went to Neil’s funeral. Locals turned out in droves; his funeral was held in the high school gymnasium because there wasn’t a church or funeral home in the county big enough for us all. And I found this written at the bottom of the funeral program, a message to us all—and the world—from his family:
“Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”
That’s my answer to you. You guys wine and demand, and we sacrifice for this naton. That is the difference, and it’s not something you should be proud of. Take your sympathy elsewhere.
Boy, I'll bet you have to explain this every time you post that .. LOL
No prob, I enjoyed it just the same.
