Remove Pelosi from the Speaker’s position by voting for Republicans. Putting her in the back benches would cause her to shut up.

The Constitution is, as it has always been, just words on paper. The magic was in the people who believed in, and abided by, these words. The words of the Constitution no lower have any sway with most people in positions of authority and influence.

Let me guess how this is going to go. Democrats blame this mess on deregulation. Waxman trials try to prevent deregulation. No matter that the deregulation bill of 1999 proposed by Republicans had nothing to do with the creation of subprime loans.
Exactly - they rush to accuse because McCain hasn’t made the link between ACORN/Obama and the subprime mess. They hope hasty show trials will be pre-emptive.
Hey, Bush is on his way out and standing up to him would be easy. I think its hard to class Bush as a republican anyway. Loyalty to country trumps party. However, DC could care less about country...its a big pig farm and everyone is used to bellying up to the trough for ‘theirs’. The little people (the OWNERS) get the bits and pieces.
Too bad the Republicans leaned nothing. They are taking us to the same place, just using the scenic route. Go Palin
Maybe we should welcome hearings. If we have any Congressmen with the guts to question Democrats under oath and back it up with the evidence we have in internet videos of Democrats resisting Fanny/Freddy oversight - we might win for a change.
Of course getting a Democrat to testify under a committee chaired by Democrats will be a though task!!

Do I vote for McCain or just let Obama and the Democrats ruin the country? The swing vote in Ohio usually decides the election. Thousands like myself are debating this right now.
