This is what Republicans get for bending over to Democrats. The GOP leadership NEVER learns!

This is so sad. :(
Seriously.
And we don’t have a tough conservative at the head of the ticket to slam these bastards properly.

They're not called the Stupid Party for nothing. The Democrats would be the Evil Party!

"...this is setting the tone for the rest of the campaign to ensure massive re-regulation of the economy by a bigger, stronger Dem Congress, with Obama's kindly hand on the tiller."I hear Belize is nice this time of year...

The Dems have a lot of CYA to do, they are going to strike first. We should not let them do it. Now that this has passed all Republicans need to have the balls to get the truth out. Facts are on their side.
To: pabianice
The sound of the Republicans fighting back and denouncing the Dems for the whole Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/CRA mess sounds amazingly like crickets chirping.

Pelosi promises show trials to pin blame on Repubs Why not? The republicans were STUPID ENOUGH to help them out, knowing it would happen.

Wow, I sure am glad we “taught a lesson” to those evil Republicans and gave the Congress to Nancy in 06!

At some point Republicans MUSt learn that everything they are told by the Democrat “Leadership” is a LIE....
These people will do ANYTHING to try and hide thier own complicity in a mess THEY created, and they PROFITED from!!

I think theres fairly little differences between republicans and democrats. We seem to wind up at the same place just at a slightly different speed. Its well beyond time for a sweeping change in DC. However, unless folks get out and vote it just isn;t going to happen. In the mean time we’re going to continue getting beaten.
My rep, Wamp(TN), voted for this mess. He definitely needs to get a real job.
