NEW YORK Construction workers digging at ground zero have uncovered a 40-foot pothole and other features carved by glaciers about 20,000 years ago.
Unearthing these glacial features has been critical in preparing the foundation for Tower 4 of the new World Trade Center, being built by Silverstein Properties at the southeast corner of the site. Engineers need a clear understanding of the contours of the rock.......
"It's nice to look at," said Robert B. Reina, a supervising structural engineer at Mueser Rutledge, "but it's all got to go."

“It’s nice to look at,” said Robert B. Reina, a supervising structural engineer at Mueser Rutledge, “but it’s all got to go.”
No, it’s got to be turned into a primitive area where only non-motorized vehicles may go. All roads to the area must be torn up and flyovers cancelled. Indigenous plants and animals must be reintroduced and the area put off limits to development of any kind. This is clearly a natural national treasure and must be preserved for our children.
Or do different rules apply in non-flyover country when the powers-that-be might be inconvenienced?

LOL. Man, I really hope that tree hugger is wearing some clothing, although it doesn’t look like it.

The fascinating thing about that picture is not the car in the hole, but that she’s wearing high heels.

Algore just announced that humans with a complete disdain for the environment, combined with exhaust from internal combustion engines, was the reason why those glaciers receded 20,000 years ago.

Manhattan was under the ice. It's a good thing the global warming extremists won't succeed in actually affecting the climate cycle because if they managed to trigger the next ice age, Manhattan would be a very bad place to be.
