The Danes have evolved from fearsome Vikings to girly men afraid of offending muslim immigrants in their own country...how did that happen?

Is this really an ‘odd’ or unusual thing? I mean to find this Viking shield there?

Seriously, I’m just asking. I would think there would be quite a few artifacts such as this floating around the Scandinavian area. Pretty neat thing to have I admit. But is this an oddity?

Geez.....Just watch the movie “Blazing Saddles” uncut, and then imagine them making it today.......look how much America’s changed in less than 35 years.

“..from fearsome Vikings to girly men afraid of offending muslim immigrants in their own country...how did that happen?”

For the same reason that at one time we had a patriot like George Washington and today the possibility of a Muslim in the WH. Go figure. It’s all a matter of political correctness, love for “diversity” and “multiculturalism”.

I don’t think that the defference shown to the Islamic cult is unique to Europe — give us a few more years and the same situation will become the norm here.

Kind of like the shield Kirk Douglas wielded in The Vikings, hehehe.

Your baseless comments are pretty insulting showing your lack of facts and knowledge!

I think the Danish cartoons in Jyllands Posten speaks for it self as well as how the Danish conservative leaning government is handling their immigration politics, which they are scolded for by the rest of EU!!

Maybe you should climb up in a tree and concentrate on peeling your two bananas instead!!!

“...I think the Danish cartoons in Jyllands Posten speaks for it self...”

Yep and how many US papers published the cartoons to show solidarity with their threatened brother media in Denmark??? Our major media was chicken across the board.

It sounds like the exceptionally good condition is the oddity. I think the problem is that wood rarely survives that long. Steel, too, doesn't often survive in very good condition. Unlike bronze.

Danish newspapers are warning the Danes of al-queda threats to hit targets in Denmark!

They are still at it in Pakistan!!

Another senior Pakistani security official said the explosives used in the bombing were like those used in two other major militant attacks, including one on the Danish embassy in Islamabad in June.

"We are collecting evidence. The explosives were similar to those used in the Danish embassy, which was claimed by Al-Qaeda, and the attack on the ISI camp in Rawalpindi last year," the official said.

One of Al-Qaeda's leaders, Mustafa Abu al-Yazid, said that the Danish embassy attack, which killed six people, was "in revenge" for Danish newspaper caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed.

Hmmmm!!!
