Did all the rest of you get swallowed by crumbs? Where is everybody?
To those who doubt the explosive potential of the combination of chili and a specific ratio of beer (the cheaper the beer, the more potent, by the way) need only consider the following:
When is the last time you were ever served an in-flight meal consisting of beer and chili????? I rest my case.
EODGUY
Hi. How are you?
Work.
But this round is done. A different one tomorrow and then I get to go home.
But for now I have to decide where I'm going for dinner.
I dunno.
(EODGuy and Robt look up, wary of falling aeroplane parts from over-pressureyed flight of beer, peenuts, and chili. And blue ice.)
I’m not here, where are you?
Back later...
Well, I’ve been here, lurking, but also trying once more to get Igor’s personal history transcribed and ready to go to Kinko’s so I can give a copy to my son when I visit in December.
How’s that new baby, Guy?
Once upon a time in a place overrun with monkeys, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest, and started catching them.
The man bought thousands at $10 and as supply started to diminish, they became harder to catch, so the villagers stopped their effort.
The man then announced that he would now pay $20 for each one. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. But soon the supply diminished even further and they were ever harder to catch, so people started going back to their farms and forgot about monkey catching.
The man increased his price to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so sparse that it was an effort to even see a monkey, much less catch one.
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys for $50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on his behalf.
While the man was away the assistant told the villagers. ‘Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has bought. I will sell them to you at $35 each and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each.’
The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the monkeys. They never saw the man nor his assistant again and, once again, monkeys weren’t worth anything.
Now you have a better understanding of how the stock market works.
Listen, Sister: There’s only one monkey that really “counts” anyway! :o])
LOL!
LOL!
I know that!
How was your day?
Better!
Not great, but the ear infection is going away. Thankfully.
Good! I’m happy for you.
Did you see Palin/McCain today?
No. I had other things going on that kept me occupied.
I’ll read about it in the morning, after all the wags get done. ;o]
I happened to catch the link while I was at my desk today, and they did such a good job.....
Gloves off?
WOW! Gloves off!
Catch some of it on you tube tomorrow, if you can.
Is it warm there yet?
Baby is 3 weeks old today.
He is wearing 3-6 month clothing.
His schedule is all over the place.
I wasn’t 100%, so I stayed away today. (Sniffles)
Kid eats a lot.
Required much attention.
I think I will put a mask on and help the wife tonight anyway.
