I sent Anoreth to Walmart to get Diet 7-up. I’ve got a sinus headache and my vitamins are making me queasy. Oh, well ...
You feeling okay after your excitement yesterday?
Oops, the catz need food. They’re after my ankles again!
I’m very tired, as I expected I would be, but I suspect it will begin to catch up with me tomorrow or Thursday. There is almost always a 24-72 hour lapse between a “stress” and the onset of more varied and severe symptoms.
So I plan to stay home today and do as little as I can and get away with it! The visit was truly enjoyable, and I wouldn’t have missed it for anything!
I only got a couple of photos of him/us, but that’s OK! I’m sure he will upload the two or three he has!
Geez and I thought it was cold up in Maine!
WOW! My sister is smart too!
ZOT!!
The colleagues I expected to see didn't show -- but maybe that's a good thing, they're such a party crowd.
:o])
Be GOOD to you, sion!
*HUG*
I have a new family member.. Rescued kitty picked me.
We have been to the vet already. Clean bill of health.
He is just getting accustomed to living in my house. So far no meeting with the girls but they are very aware of each other.
He is very sweet.
Hope you get to feeling better.
Take care of yourself.
He looks young, but healthy!
And he also picked the perfect home to be in!
The Girls will just have to live with it! LOL!!
And does “he” have a name? “Snowball” would be good...or Sunny...*snort*
(Sorry...I couldn’t help myself!)
Vet said he was about 2-3 years old.
I have no idea how he ended up homeless but he was.
Neutered and declawed already.
He is happy to be with people again.. He isn’t too sure about the girls.
His name is Pyewacket..from the Jimmy Stewart /Kim Novak movie “Bell, Book and Candle”.
I let my hubby name him. It was part of the deal to take him in...I’d have been agreeable if he got named Mudball.
They are aware of one another but he has been stashed in the living room behind the baby gate.
He looks solid black in the photo but he isn’t. He has little flecks of white, a white band on his right wrist and a white patch on his belly.
Despite the reflex in his eyes, they are actually golden.
He is very sweet.
I had a black cat that had a white undercoat. He was a sweetie! My daughter has his Mum.
And with that, I’m off for the night. Give all the critters
a hug from Auntie ‘Face; things will look excellent in the morning!
Ta!
Night Face.
Will kiss the critters for you.
Haven’t even had my kitty for a week yet...but I luv him.
Manfred: Hey, buddy, want a lift? Diego: No, thanks. I'm saving what little dignity I've got left. Sid: You're hanging out with us now, pal. Dignity has nothing to do with it.
TAZ: Untamed, Unpredictable, Uninhibited, and part of the Undead Thread.
You're hanging out with us now, pal. Dignity has nothing to do with it.
News came in on my MIL this afternoon -- she's doing well. Up, clearly communicated she wanted a chocolate milk shake and nearly polished off 16 ounces of the stuff.
I’m glad your MIL is doing better.
The big thing is that she's both perky and spunky now, and we haven't seen that in a while. It may just have been bad side-effects of some of the meds. We can hope, and pray.
In other news, we learned today that one of my relatives doesn't have cancer after all, though she needs heart surgery. Not out of the woods yet, but we're praying...

It isn’t that good EVERY day, but it’s worth the trip for the stuff that is.
Dead of the Night to ye, UT denizens.
I figured I’d been away long enough that if I dropped by in the dark it wouldn’t matter if folks didn’t recognize me.
Ah, well. The night makes everyone a stranger.
No. Wait. The night makes everyone stranger.
OK. If people are strange when you’re a stranger, and the night makes everyone stranger, then the song was about strangers in the night?
And why does my tag line seem so relevant, just now??
