AMERICA-The Right Way!Sept 8-12,2008[Remember the WTC, the Pentagon & Flight 93]

Is the Obama campaign falling thru the floor? New poll numbers favor McCain/Palin.

Hurricane Ike crosses over Cuba heading for the GOM and another possible US landing.

Sarah Palin will sit down with ABC's Charles Gibson for a one on one interview this week.

The federal government has taken over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in an effort to stabilize the struggling housing market. That means you, me, all us taxpayers... have assumed the risk of this bailout...

And finally, the 7th anniversary of a horrendous day in our beloved country's history approaches..

Let's keep our country, our citizens, and that day's victims in our prayers this week.

>> and, Ray Talifery says Obama is going to pay REPARATIONS to all blacks.

Bev, this will COMPLETELY rip this country apart.

You are going to love this one...

Obama walked right off the Bridge to Nowhere.

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/08/obama-ad-no-maverick/

I guess Barack Obama doesn’t read Hot Air, nor listens to wisdom from our own Allahpundit. Team O got so flustered by today’s “Original Mavericks” ad that they rushed this new spot out today, apparently before doing some rudimentary fact-checking. Obama argues that the Bridge to Nowhere shows him to be the real Maverick: It’s true that Palin didn’t start off opposing the bridge, but as Governor she made the decision to kill it. At least she moved in the right direction. Who voted for it in the first place? Not John McCain; he derided it on the Senate floor, despite it being a pet project from a Republican colleague. Two of the votes came from … Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

And landed right in the briar patch..

Reminds me of an Abbott and Costello routine.

Abbott to Costello: How stupid are you?

Costello: How stupid do you want me to be?

I still think there is something weird going on with FR with this BLOODY SCHIZOPHRENIC computer! When I click on my ATRW icon, August 30th comes up and I have to hit ping each time to get to a place where I can get into today's posts.

Maybe I am misremembering, but this just seems different.

That’s exactly what happened with my computer. I’m pointing the finger at Windows update.

"A HA!!! she cried...her hands were tied and yet he still pursued her"!!!

I might have discovered the problem. Only time will tell.)

But, I think I now have the right icon to click on my desktop....sigh......another "blonde" moment has been rectified.

Too sweet! Simply too, too sweet.

I’m not sure Nobama’s supporters will let the facts stand in the way of their worship. But hopefully there are some leaners who will open their eyes.

Hi, Jem. Are you feeling well?

I finally had my last Dr's appointment today. The next time I see a doctor, I'll be in the hospital for my surgery.

Yea for you! You’ll do well in the op largely due to your eagerness for the operation.

No, I’m not feeling well. I could feel worse but I’m not well yet. I have a “punched in the gut” type of feeling and I have no stamina whatsoever. I did get through to the doc’s office today and the nurse relayed that the doc wanted me to wait until my follow-up appointment on Wednesday. So, maybe my tenderness is just part of the healing process and I’m being impatient.

It sure can be boring around here.

How did you create an icon? I don’t have the first idea of where to start with that.

I know Bit. I’ve seen the u-tube of that speech so many times, plus he’s going to phase out our nukes and concentrate on his “private army”, no his democrat issues, free health care, dental care, free food, free gas, free transportation, free everything, plus restitution to anyone who can claim to have a drop of Negro blood running in their veins. I can’t...darn....while the people in the states were having their scabble, we in Alaska were having trouble with the Russians trying to catch us and make us slaves for their whatevers. They did overrun the Aluets and turned them into slaves. The Russians couldn’t fish and hunt the beaver and seal the way the Aluets did. Today because of that we have very few Aluets who are full bloods. They’re mixed like the rest of us.

(BTW Is it really true that their staffs are paid more than the office holder? I thought the Rep/Senator got an allotment for staff and office expenses.)

I'm sure it depends,,, state to state, and even from one Congressional Office to another, depending on Seniority and Committee assignments.

In Iowa, Reps and Senators are paid about $23,000 annually, a 'clerk' is paid to assist us, Session Only. There is a caucus staff, each staffer monitors and handles several committees. They are paid in the $60,000 range. I don't have the figures on the Congressionals. Altho, I suspect the electeds are paid more than their staff.

Whatever the case, my point remains that staff becomes more powerful when term limits are in effect because it takes the electeds a while to learn to monitor the system.
