Is the Obama campaign falling thru the floor? New poll numbers favor McCain/Palin.
Hurricane Ike crosses over Cuba heading for the GOM and another possible US landing.
Sarah Palin will sit down with ABC's Charles Gibson for a one on one interview this week.
The federal government has taken over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in an effort to stabilize the struggling housing market. That means you, me, all us taxpayers... have assumed the risk of this bailout...
And finally, the 7th anniversary of a horrendous day in our beloved country's history approaches..
Let's keep our country, our citizens, and that day's victims in our prayers this week.
till, I heard on one of the talk shows that McCain's opponent (I refuse to say that da#$ name) got to hear McCain's entire interview before he went on. I don't have to say anything else about that.
I heard also that McCain's opponent said that he wants to 'make government cool again.'
I am so desperately sick of him. I heard a few weeks ago that he said the first word out of his mouth when he sits down in the Oval Office will be: 'Cool.' He is absolutely devoid of humility, and I pray that is what helps him get defeated.
Aw, man, you shoulda said something! We coulda done it up in real Pennsyltucky style!!! ;-))

Off to look for a car. We've been a one car family for over 1 year.
Rush is analyzing how Gibson tried to trick her into saying that Israel (and U.S.) should nuke Iran. That didn’t work either. He did it 3 times in a row and she shoved it right back in his face every time.
They know it is over.
I was on a biz trip to Palmyra and had a AAA++++ cheesesteak at a local mom and pops. Close to as good or best of the best I’ve had.

You, till and especially Kassie are in my prayers.

First thing I have heard from Reid that is true.
Hi Molly. Indeed it looks like Galveston is going to have a very rough time. I have been watching (via Direct TV Channel 361) a Houston TV station that is covering the storm wall-to-wall. It still amazes me that people stick around during these storms. I’ll be keeping the folks on the gulf coast in my prayers.
Hi johnny, Yep, we have ours done too. We do need the rain. According to our weatherman, we’ll probably get about 5/6 inches and winds about 40/45 mph. We have taken the chairs off the balcony and stuff off the patio, just in case. I made sure we have plenty of water, the lanterns are full and the wood is ready, just in case our electricity fails. The way the hurricane hooks around looks like the people south of us, and people east side of the eye and those in the north-east will get the worst of this. You may get more rain than us.
Iowa Granny, keep your umbrella handy, rains a comin’.
Has kassie been silenced by the cane? Haven’t seen her post for a while.
I think someone on nobama’s crew found something out or knew something from a previous campaign and at the choosing of “whose gonna be the nominee” sprung that knowledge on the clintons. Don’t know what it could have been, but she gave up too easily. Not a whimper, not a sigh, not a thud...she just backed away.
Jem, I can pronounce Vladimir and Lenin. The other 2, forget it, my teeth are too short to get my tongue around them so say those 2 words.
Yes, she has. She was on late last night and I saw where a couple of us exchanged cell numbers with her. I thought I would try to text her tomorrow afternoon or evening.
Doesn’t it take about three days, though, for a hurricane to blow over?
He is an arrogant twoaat.
What makes you think we have more oil than just about all the world put together? I’ve always heard we have 3% of the world’s oil reserves.
Oh, I like that oak dip serving bowl.
