The Politico has received an opposition research file from the Alaska Democrats. You can read it in PDF here.
In the file, the Democrats have released Sarah Palin's social security number minus the last four digits. Also tied to the information are her various home addresses.
Back in 2005, Democrats used Michael Steele's social security number to get his credit record.
It is atrocious that the Democrats would not only seek out Sarah Palin's social security number, but release it in opposition research to the press.
We need to know who did this. We also need to know what happened. We also need to know if it was used to bolster the Democrats' opposition research.
When it happened to Michael Steele, it turns out the Democrats knew about it and did nothing.
They cannot not take action now.

Someone named “Shopping Bag” created that PDF from a Word document titled “Microsoft Word - Palin Master Document.doc”
They used Acrobat Distiller 7.0 on a Windows machine.
The creation date was 2006-09-17.

Not sure how to track down the actual name of the person who created this, or where they created it. If there’s an IP address in the document somewhere, that might help us....
This is identify theft and is a federal offense. Could possibly be state laws involved (not privy).

Well one things for sure, the selection of Sarah Palin has finally shown the media and so-called “liberals” for what they really are —— miserable, hypocritical thugs who use groups like women, gays, minorities, etc. for nothing more than the advancement of their own greedy, partisan politcal power. I wasn’t a big McCain guy but this turned out to be a brilliant political move because it forced the so-called liberals and the American news media to at last reveal their true colors; that all of their endless, sanctimonious blathering about women and minorities turns out to be a complete fraud and that those constituents are being abused and lied to daily by the media to further the aims of Democrat puppet masters. Democrat voters are expendable — pawns in the quest for complete Democrat political power and the eventual disintegration of the Constitution as we know it.

I agree. I don't believe Rasmussen and Gallup polls either, and suspect they are withholding the truth until their push-polling can bring Obama's numbers back up into the 40s.
Maybe. Some orgs do use the last four. Most don’t.
From now on the dims should be called “The Nasty Party”.
We may be the dumb party as in too naive for our own good, but the dims have gone beyond the pale in their treatment of the Palin family.

re: polls - yes Obama is up 6-8 point today. However pre-convention, most pollsters predicted 8-10 points for Obama. Some even as much as 15.
Remember Obama was up 6-8 in most polls right after his European trip. Within 5 days, it was back to the regular 3 point lead. McCain had a great last 4 weeks and had pulled even and slightly ahead in most polls.
Zogby/Rasmussen said a week ago Tuesday that Obama would be up about 10 early this week. And by end of the Repub convention, it would be tied again. So far, they have been pretty accurate. Lets give it another week or so to settle down.

Let me be the first to predict that in 4 or 5 days obamagod will issue a statement proclaiming that no one in his campaign would do such a thing, but if they ever do find out who it was they shall be immediately deported back to the hell they came from-or under the bus—whichever is closest.
I say it is time for the same information on every so called journalist involved in these smears to be posted on the net.
