Yep - SNARLY!!! The jerks won’t even call me. Now, I am begining to believe McAfee has been the cause of all of my computer problems since this new computer was delivered in February. I am going to order Norton today - guess I can get it through Costco and/or online.

AVG, imo, is good. I use it and Zone Alarm. It's your decision, Bev.

Maybe Bit could give you better info.

I have never tried Zone Alarm but have heard good things. You won't believe this, but I went to McAfee "automated technician" and it "fixed" a registry problem. I went back into mcAfee and put the firewall, personal, and phishing back on and....son of a gun, it allowed me to go back on the internet without problems.

I am exhausted :-)so I am going to take a nap with Andy and Charlie. It is a cool, misty day - a nap under the afghan is going to be a good thing :-)

Yes, Dog, they are in a wild panic over this magnificent leader in Mrs. Palin.

Sorry to hear about your computer probs. I'm a sorta computer geek but I have no idea except for you to reformat and reload Windoze. Since you have some limited access, you can try to save your important data to CD or DVD, and then reformat and reinstall.

Thanks bev! I am so happy to know that about the OB business.

I gave up on McAfee years ago and went to Norton. I now have added Bitdefender.

Good Morning—still morning here on the west coast for fifteen minutes or so. Have been reading on the hurricane, etc. Hope all your computer issues get straightened out soon. You all sound so knowledgable about computers and virus problems—it sounds like a foreign language to me. My laptop picked up a bunch of them when we used it on a trip over the summer. Husband installed some new stuff on it to fix it, but it takes forever to start up now. Anyway, thinking of Gulfcoast and others today and glad you are feeling better Jemian.

Well, I forced myself to listen to MSNBC for a couple of seconds. They sound SO disappointed that Gustav wasn't worse than Katrina...they seem so sad that they will now need to cover that AWFUL GOP convention :-)

Maybe they can get Casey Anthony to admit she killed her child and they can rush to cover that instead of our convention.

POOR MSNBC :-)

Great news and it makes them sad. Totally upside down people. I saw Meredith Viera interviewing some guy about Sarah Palin this morning and just the tone of her voice and questions asked made me cringe.

Bev, they would have been elated had Gustav come ashore, obliterated numerous cities, wrecked billions of $ in damage, and killed thousands of Americans.

Sounds EXACTLY like what Osama bin Laden would like to see.

I bet they are sharpening their forked tongues and making mean faces in the mirror in preparation for the convention.

Consistancy is so important for reporters.

LOL

Just makes you wanna slap the MSM upside their collective heads! They are just dispicable! Too bad their parents were pro life, huh?

The Lord definitely has work to do on me!

I am going to go take a nap and wake up in a better mood :-)

Absolutely!

Ann Coulter recently made a brilliant statement, something along the lines, 'let liberals abort liberals'. I don't have it exact, and her actual quote was much better than that, but you get the idea.

Hope you are in a great mood when you wake up.

A little JibJab for ya’ Came in my email.

Shep was on talking about Grand Isle, La - I was there one time back in the late 60’s, and everyone spoke French - or Cajun.

Shoot, they probably didn’t know Gustav was on it’s way, if they can’t understand the English cable stations.
