Limbaugh was on Greta’s show last night and was pretty enthusiastic about McCain’s speech. He ticked off the points that he liked (low taxes, strong defense, war on terror, etc) and said that McCain did very well for someone who isn’t good at this type of speaking.

No more blue screen of death, thank goodness. A friend suggested that I export my email from windows to either yahoo.com or g.mail.com or a similar program that has unlimited free space AND will always be safe because it isn't a part of my internal computer. Is there a way to do that without a huge hassle?

We have 7 days of perfect weather ahead of us so I am going to prepare my decks and get them painted of this coming weekend. During the week, I will get the gutter spout extenders on and get the deck furniture put away. Then I should be pretty much ready for fall/winter.
Going to fix myself a hearty breakfast and then check back with you before I start my outside chores.
I feel better about the election, but I think it is still too soon to start rejoicing. I trust none of the lame stream from the talk shows, to the polls, to the print media and especially the alphabet soup. It will be very important how the next three or four weeks go.

Now that he has been discovered, the Daily Kos is trying to scrub its web pages.
Yup, I could sense that too when Rush was talking to Greta. He is talking about it now. Rush wanted the momentum (dare I say Sara-mentum!)built up through the week to stay high and it almost was lost (especially by the earlier speakers like Gramnesty). Rush didn’t like it when McCain was ripping the Republican Party. But he did like the Country First theme - because the Obamabots got trapped into thinking that was a slam against them (Everything is about Obama you know!) - in reality, McCain is just trying to highlight his sense of duty to country born from his time as a POW.
Obama just doesn’t have anything CLOSE to the life experiences of the people on the Republican side.
Rush mentioned today that he heard the protestors at the Republican convention (Code Pinkers) were given passes by the friendly folks at MSNBC! Has anyone else heard this anywhere?!?!
