I've been touched by Norberto's image. I think the authors got it wrong regarding Mister Hernandez ... No, I believe Norberto fell looking down in the belief that he might be able to avoid hitting someone on the ground, for he may have been a jumper, but he was definitely not a killer, a murderer like the evil Islamic scum who flew those planes into the towers. Watcxhing the crushing ground rushing toward him, Norberto may have thought he could avoid hurting anyone else. He should be remembered for that grace in his soul.

The first time I saw the video of our national anthem at Buckingham Palace in the days after 9/11 was the first time I really cried about everything. Before that I was just too stunned to react. It still gets me every time.
I watched the video..I thought about what I was feeling just watching on television and what it must have been like to see it like they did...”O God ..all those people!” I have seen the video documenting the firefighters..So much loss..so many heroes.

I am taking Chachi in to the vet later this afternoon. He's been biting at his backsides like he has something irrating him on his back near his tail and he can't reach it to scratch. Poor guy, how awful it is to have an itch that you can't reach! This has been going on for a week or more. It is not constant, but several times during the day I will see him struggling trying to bite at his back and I can't stand to see him tormented like this. We have got to find out what is bothering him. I am sure it is nothing serious, but skin problems can be hard to diagnose and treat. With his pelt it is impossible to see down to the skin. I hope they don't have to shave his beautiful fur off. It just grew back from his surgery. :-(
I will let you know what the vet says.
