The Dems' Crazy Convention gets underway. How much of it can you stand to watch? I need a volunteer to watch my share...let me think of some inticement for this huge sacrifice...

The hip was hurting, but today I woke up not as stiff-hipped. ;-)
Several stressful things are going on in my life, but I'm learning to deal with them. You know how that is.
I'm trying to push the stress aside and focus on Greg, Sarah and my pets. I'm grateful for them.

The week after that I have an appointment with my GP to okay the surgery.
Not related at all. The final upshot of that was... nothing. We found nothing at all.
But I do have kidney infection that is large and may have appendicitis along with it. We don’t know that yet.
I also have a huge headache. They’ve been giving me morphine but that wears off and the headache hasn’t.
Gracious! With all that is going on I can’t imagine why you are not in the hopital..NOW!
God speed you on the way. May He protect you before, beside, behind and above.

I may have surgery later today. And I can’t have anything by mouth all day. In fact, I haven’t been able to eat for the last two days.
And lysie, I'm so glad you are making progress toward a resolution...

It sounds like Romney may be the VP pick. Reports that a detail of secret service may be following him.
Also heard from my cousin who is a dem by the way that she saw a Inside Edition that the daughter of the man who was involved in the accident that killed Bidens first wife and child, is upset. Seems Biden had been making the rounds at campuses claiming they were killed by a drunk driver.
Inside Edition talked with the police and he was never given any tickets in regard to the accident.
Matter of fact, it seems she was the one whose actions caused the accident.
He is now dead, but his daughter wants Biden to correct the record, so as not to besmirch his memory.
Of course, the republicans can not touch this one because of the nature of it, but it is interesting since there was no need to embellish such a tragedy.

Going to catch up with a friend later today. She and I haven't had a good conversation for a year or more, and am so glad she called me yesterday.
I think that Nobama’s Big Fat Greek Acceptance Speech has the potential to be his Dukakis ‘Tank Moment’ — so embarrassing that he might not be able to recover...;-))
