I didn't watch, but found this at NRO's Campaign Spot

The Decision-Making on the Stage Is All Greek To Me

The discussion with several of my NR colleagues is what, precisely, the Obama campaign is doing with the Greek-pillared stage at Invesco Field.

The jokes are starting already. The O-cropolis. Toga instructions from the McCain campaign. My Big Fat Greek Acceptance Speech. Obama's Oddessey. The Barackolis. Is it supposed to look like the Lincoln Memorial? The Brandenberg Gate? The Parthenon? The White House? The Isle of Lesbos?

Maybe, just maybe, it will look a lot better on television. But it's hard to believe, based on what we've seen so far. The leading theory is that the Obama leadership is in a bubble, were completely blindsided by the "Celebrity" ad, and they continue to see organizing a presidential campaign as akin to putting on the greatest Super Bowl halftime show in history.

Mozie: I hope Mr. Mozie is doing well. Prayers continue.

Dog:WTF are they thinking? I'm from Texas and sometimes have too much beer and have things like coffin races down the street.... I get in some trouble. I've got a car up on blocks in my yard. Only reason there isn't a dawg under my front porch is because I blocked it in with cinder blocks. The one that WAS there has finally quit stinking.

I'd serve white wine with deer. I have a checklist on the wall where I can tick off how many squirrels, coons, possums, etc... that I have caught for each season.

But Barrack Hussein Obama is OVER THE TOP. Greek temple, indeed.

I'm going to be on line for only a little while. Then, I'm heading to sleep.

Open up Freeper General! I'm in a private room awaiting a more definitive diagnosis.

What's going on: LAST evening about 1800 I was assailed by extreme chills. We tried to get me diagnosed last night but it just didn't happen. So, today I tried again. Chills came back at noon btw.

Cutting to the chase: I have a severe kidney infection with maybe an appendicitis attack. It took all this day to get diagnosed; I have been through diagnostic hell to get here. Possible surgery tomorrow, but maybe not. No solids or liquids until this is improved.

Forget the RATS. I've paid no attention.

Every democRAT I’v heard tonight is telling their audience that America is in big trouble. We’ve the highest oil prices ever, how are people going to heat their homes this winter and the mouth running of disaster after disaster is unbelievable. We’ve lost the American dream, our country is looked down upon, worldwide, but nobama can fix that and make the world love us again. I cannot remember when the world loved us, except when we were getting their butts out of some altercation or another. Evidently biden is a great family man, according to his son. I will say though, his son is a great politician. He had a lot of the audience in tears telling of his youth and how his Dad was and is always there when his family needs him.

I don’t see how Roomey can sit there and listen to this drivvel. I’m about to barf.

I’ll say goodnight, take my hearing aids out so I won’t hear anymore drivvel.

How long are you going to be gone from home?

I'm leaving tomorrow (Thurs) morning and will be gone 9 days.

The reason I am leaving tomorrow, is I am on the Rules Committee and we have our first meeting tomorrow afternoon. We meet again on Friday, all day, and meeting time is blocked out for us on Saturday if we need it.

Glenn Beck's

The Argument Against Idiots: Blessed wife Michelle Obama August 26, 2008 - 10:30 ET

How to win the argument de jour with logic and facts

The issue:

"Blessed wife Michelle Obama"

What the liberal whiners say:

'Republicans really need to LAY OFF Michelle Obama! She's not running for anything!'

'No! This is beneath contempt. Family members should be off-limits! You Republicans have no decency!'

'Well, he should listen to her. As Barack has said, no one loves this country more than Michelle!'

Your winning, logical, reasoned arguments

1. She's running for first lady of the United States of America. She also campaigned for Barack all over the country. When you do that, you open the door for people to respond.

2. Barack was asked at the Saddleback Church Forum to name the three people that would most influence his decisions as president. He named his wife, his grandmother and Ted Kennedy. If Michelle is going to be influencing the President of the United States, we can absolutely talk about and criticize her.

3. She has a funny way of expressing that love then. Let's review a few of blessed wife Michelle's greatest "love America" hits:

"For the first time in my adult life, I'm proud of my country" (Speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin February 18th, 2008)

"But we've learned a lot this year, we've learned that when the bar is set sometimes it moves on you…right when you get there…it MOVES! And the irony of it is that's what's been happening to most Americans." (Speech in Providence, Rhode Island, clarifying her "proud for first time", remarks)

"In America in 2008, life is not good: we're a divided country, we're a country that is "just downright mean," we are "guided by fear," we're a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents." (March 10th New Yorker)

"Don't go into corporate America." (Speech at daycare in Zanesville, Ohio)

"And Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism, that you put down your division, that you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones, that you push yourselves to be better, and that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual - uninvolved, uninformed..." (Speech in February, 2008)

"Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices, that we are going to have to change our conversation, we're gonna have to change our traditions, our history, we're gonna have to move into a different place as a nation." (Campaign speech in Puerto Rico)
