Its a common way for couples to reconcile. Animalistic, uninhibited and aggressive, many couples are enthralled by make-up sex. Some couples actually thrive on it.
So why is anger such a powerful stimulant? And what are the rules of engagement for resolving conflict in this way? While fighting as a form of foreplay doesnt make much sense, on second thought, its not such an inconceivable aphrodisiac. Physiologically speaking, anger and arousal have quite a bit in common in revving up the body.
When angry or sexually aroused, a persons body reacts in much the same way - to the point that a furious individual can mistake outrage for sexual excitement.
When an individual is angry, chemicals, including adrenaline, are released in the brain. With these neurotransmitters fired up and ready for action, the brain is reacting much like it does during sex.

As far as the article, it's interesting that it almost advocates fighting with your partner to have better intimacy.
I must experiment.
Of course, I may get my butt kicked in the process, but hey, gotta try.
LOL...LOL...my girlfriend and I have tried it and I have to say it works well!
This article unintentionally gives insight into the crime of rape. It is often not about sex, but about anger, control, and dominance.
Will never happen with me. Takes a month before she’s over whatever she’s mad at me about.
Have to disagree.
I don’t need peaks and valleys - especially the valleys. Keep the relationship nice and steady.
I'd like to see the body language expert Bill O'Rielly uses to explain this photo. :D
My last girlfriend was the same way. Good times, good times.
Yeah, my wife is the same way. I’m always ready to make up (especially in THAT way) before she is.
My wife and I have always skipped the fight and gone straight to the make up part. ;)
lol...wrong quote on my previous post! Damned copy/paste!
That’s hilarious when you read the topic of sex into your quote.
“...my girlfriend and I have tried it and I have to say it works well!”
The best line from the movie War of the Roses is when Turner asks Danny DeVito if he likes angry sex. And he says, “Is there any other kind?”
“Yeah, my wife is the same way. Im always ready to make up (especially in THAT way) before she is.”
I can easily imagine Obambi and his bitter half having angry sex.
Mine takes YEARS to get over anything. She can't remember what I told her yesterday, but she hasn't forgotten things that I did 20 years ago.
I don’t believe that. Ewwwww, who wants to be intimate when someone was just mean to you.
It's hard enough going through life together with other problems, finances, jobs, family, kids, dogs, cats, critters. Why add anger with your partner to that?
I also learned VERY early that I get the last word in EVERY argument or discussion.
"Yes, dear."
As a husband who has been married for almost 22 years (yes, to the same woman!) I can sum up a happy marriage in two words:
Yes, Dear.
“Yes, dear.”
You are very smart. :-)
My gratitude to your wife for her service.
Test was fun. I am Wonder Woman. :-o

Why do I keep getting pinged to “kinky sex” threads?
