Newby asks "Ping to 'All'"?

In the 'pings' set in some comments, besides the expected member names, I have seen the word 'All'. Does that 'ping' the message to everyone who already left a comment on that thread? How about those who comment after? And are there other 'special' words, besides 'All'?

Its a lot easier now, but back in the old days, when I joined FR, you first had to lurk for 3 months, then pass a written test, before you were given posting privileges Thank goodness it didn't also take an act of congress, else none of us would *ever* have gotten posting privileges .....

He's likes to get pinged a lot, which is why you see so many posts to him.
