****The Official Friday Silliness Thread****

Posted on 04/18/2008 5:59:13 AM PDT by Lucky9teen

My birthday is tomorrow (the 19th), so I'm havin' a party!!!

I got the food and drinks...

And the DJ is settin' up...getting ready for ya'll to get on the dance floor...

The most effective way to remember your wife's birthday is to forget it once.

A well adjusted woman is one who not only knows what she wants for her birthday, but even knows what she's going to exchange it for.

The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age. - Lucille Ball

Inside every older person is a younger person wondering what happened. - Jennifer Yane

A diplomat is a man who always remembers a woman's birthday but never remembers her age. - Robert Frost

Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip!

You were born an original. Don't die a copy. - John Mason

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. - Abraham Lincoln

The old believe everything; the middle aged suspect everything: the young know everything. - Oscar Wilde

Few women admit their age. Few men act theirs.

The older the fiddler, the sweeter the tune.

About the only thing that comes to us without effort is old age.

Age is something that doesn’t matter, unless you are a cheese.

Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

After 30, a body has a mind of its own.

I’m at an age when my back goes out more than I do.

Just remember, once you’re over the hill you begin to pick up speed.

To me, old age is always 20 years older than I am.

Thank you.

I have been conflicted for some time whether to pull his passport or sit back and enjoy watching him make an ass of himself…which I love to no end...making an ass of himself that is.

I believe I will set my personal amusement aside and go with his passport being pulled. : (

I will do it for the good of my country.

“”I will do it for the good of my country.””

...the country that he hates.

Folks just take the labels off and put them back on when they reach the U.S.

Exactly.

We can never, ever forget he gave away our Panama Canal.

I don’t think anybody knows our total hatred toward him from those who were born and/or raised in the Canal Zone.

As things are going, maybe the left in congress should also vote to give back to Mexico California, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas.

Now one may realize how the Canal Zonians felt although we were not a state.

Should that happen, I have no empathy because I have been through it.

It was more than just awful. It was the same as a death in the family. It will always linger.

I agree with you 100% and I’ve never even been to the canal.

I will always hate him for that treason.

They printed up a really nice note in our office extolling us to conserve water and ending with the line "The Earth thanks you!"

I added a yellow sticky under it stating "Earth First! We'll pave the other planets later." It stayed there for three months until I got tired of it and threw it away.

Good time to celebrate. Wednesday, the 16th, was my birthday and I’m a perpetual 22 like Jack Benny was 39. Yeehaw!
