Sarah Jane is too teeny boppish for me to watch. Good for kids..

I like the direction that BSG is going. It is going to be the darkest season of BSG ever.

As for Torchwood, well it was a decent season too much focus on Owen being dead. Glad to see Martha Jones. Next weeks episode looks awesome..

I actually enjoyed Sarah Jane a whole lot. The opening story was like 150% better than any Torchwood story has ever been.

I think it is because being aimed at kids and not at some “watershed” ethos, they had to actually tell a good story (which seemed like a version of Larry Cohen’s The Stuff, only more sinister). The monsters were pretty good too.

There were times when the acting/direction seemed a little off, a little hammed up and maybe it went on about 10 minutes too long but I just remembered it was aimed at children and for the most part was a pretty cracking story.

In some ways it reminded me more of Classic Who.

BSG was great. Haven’t watched Torchwood yet. I can’t wait for this season of Torchwood to finally be over. Why couldn’t they just kill everyone off and start over with Tosh?

Torchwood was doing OK until it made the 90 degree turn to in-your-face queer then the main character was revealed as a homosexual.
I don’t watch any more.

Now that would be a good show. As for BSG, I like Number 6 with her natural hair rather than the blond wig imho...

Anyone have a lead on The Dead Zone and The 4400? I’ve lost track of them in the new 12-18 month cycles.

BTW, The new Star Trek XI looks visually stunning although the plot has been kept under wraps.

Does anyone know, I thought I heard that this was the last season for BSG?

If Sarah Jane is more like classic Doctor Who, I can see my friends and I staying in on friday nights in the future... I’m trying to look it up online right now. It has to be pretty awesome if it’s better than anything from Torchwood (specifically Countrycide, Sleeper, and Reset; most of the rest aren’t too hard to beat).

This week’s Torchwood was pretty neat IMO, and I’m psyched for the finale. As far as the ‘just kill everyone off’ bit, I’ve heard rumors that some of the actors might be leaving the show, so... who knows? Obviously, the writers can’t kill off Jack for multiple reasons, and Gwen is sort of the main character, but I’m willing to bet that Owen dies in the season finale given how terribly inconvenient the undead thing has to be for the writers.

USA Network’s last “Dead Zone” update was 2006. I think the end of Season 6 (06-07) was the series finale. Not sure if it’s coming back.

USA has also let the “4400” part of their website go stale. I think it has been cancelled too.

I’m waiting for new “Monk”, new “Psych” and new “Burn Notice” episodes.

That shouldn’t have been a surprise. The actor who plays Captain Jack is agressive homosexual activist who is gay “married” to his partner.

The Dead Zone CANCELLED !!!
Monday, December 31st, 2007
In an article on TV Guide on December 19th, it was announced that ‘The Dead Zone’ had been cancelled and it also said that ‘The 4400’ was also cancelled. The reason behind it is said that it was done to allow new series on the network to grow. Although unoffically it is said that the past season ratings plus high production cost were the things that came on top and our beloved show was cancelled.

The 4400 and Dead Zone were both cancelled. One place you can read to keep up with what's still on is The Futon Critic . If you scroll down the page nearly to the bottom, you'll see a listing of 174 (or so) shows cancelled last year.

I hate Katie Sackhoff - she's a horrible actress, as this episode of BSG made clear. And as how the Malestrom episode last year made clear.

Horrible, horrible, horrible, as in "click off my TV and don't watch a show if she's on" level horrible.
