AMERICA-The Right Way! Weekend Edition,April 12-13, 2008[Remember the Trade Center!]

Good morning!

It's turned chilly again.

Violent storms struck the county's mid-section on Friday.

Bill Clinton, much to his wife's ahem, annoyance, brought up the fake Bosnia story again yesterday, and Obama's comments about rural PA voters drew criticism. His arrogance and high level of self-importance and self-regard are more and more apparent.

I read a review of it that said the first 45 minutes is pretty good, but goes downhill after that...haven’t seen it, though

Molly what is your overall opinion of Daniel Pipes? He was on a History Channel segment about "secret societys"....Pipes is Council Foreign Relaions member, and the segment also talked about the Bilderbergers, the Trilateral Commission, Skull and Bones.

Pipes was the spokesperson for "their is no world wide coordination and manipulation going on in these socieites" anti-conspiracy theory.

Others were talking the conspiracy theorist roles.

Hi there! I'm not a big "new" movie person, but vaguely remember mixed reviews of Stone's movie.

prairie, I've always found Pipes to be a very serious commentator on Mideast affairs & world affairs, both when I've heard him on conservative radio, and in his written work. He's very concerned about Iran and its leadership. He's not easily swayed by typical State Dept. plans , prejudices, and diplomatic biases.

Where is Greensburg?

I understand it is "36 miles southeast of Pittsburg". We moved from there when I was 7.

Shortly after Pope Benedict was selected, there were many stories about how Cardinal Ratzinger would always take time to meet with students attending daily Mass.

He would even join them for lunch and talk about issues of the day for the younger generation.

He was always, and is, very approachable; eager to work with students.

He insisted there was no behind-the-scenes manipulation of world power going on in CFR, Trilateral or Bilerbergers.

Perhaps he wishes there were.....

Yes, that’s what I’ve read about Pope Benedict.

Okay, Snedecker eagled on the last hole and tied with Immelman now. Woods is playing abysmally.

It’s windy in Augusta.

I read that article written by a woman by the name of Gerlick. I think she had a ball doing it. She mentioned, NO ONE had nobama’s iterary. He was shuffled from millionaire to millionaire abodes and places. Everything VERY secret. Then the pesky millionaires began showing up on Billionaire Row in SF to the Getty mansion, but they could only stand on the street because only Billionaires were allowed to this shindig. Gerlick being the on-the-spot and investigative reporter she is, figured nobama would enter the Getty abode by the servant’s quarter, so there she posted herself. (of course she couldn’t go to the front of the house, because it faced SF Bay, not the street) Nobama did show, on cue, with SS agents in tow, so she got quite a few shots of him glad handing some of the peasants waiting for his arrival. She mentioned, in passing?, in bygone days, before 1964, the colored entertainers entered these homes through the servant’s entry also. (Nuff said) But it was a fun article to read.

I think most university administrators do not have the brass to talk of good manners and decency. I also think most, about 99 3/4% of the professors and “teachers” have no manners, decency or respect for America to stop this type of “First Amendment Speach”. They are all totally respectless and run full foul mouth against the U.S.

I think you are right, these ‘art’ exhibits are designed to shock and to impress the ‘artist’s’ Bolshie instructors. I really do think, though, that Holocaust studies should be mandatory at all universities, so that these young wingnuts can at least have a chance at knowing the true meaning of Nazi when they so carelessly throw it around...;-))

Stone’s World Trade Center was a good movie IMHO.

BUT I tend to swim against the opinion tide at FR . Most of what I enjoy the large percentage here at this site WONT see for various reasons, disllike the production staff or actors & wont see, or did see & disliked the result..

So that is solely my opinion but would have to say it is NOT popular opinion. I have liked most things OS has done for entertainment, which is why I go to movies - not to see if it is 100 factually correct or wont rub against any of my conservative values. Most of the movies that have been trashed here at ATRW the past couple weeks I found to be good cinema

It has been windy and the air is so nice and dry. I’m loving it, but Roomey is beginning to complain about the wind. I was raised on an island where we had wind all the time, if I remember correctly, so the wind to me is just normal. The high today was 67 degrees. It is just beautiful. In the evening the wind dropped to a nice breeze. How was it down your way?
