Jamie Lee Curtis has agreed to pose topless to mark her 50th birthday.

The actress said she would bare all to convince older women that they can still be beautiful if they take care of their bodies.

Her topless pose will appear on May's cover of the magazine of the American Association of Retired Persons, the U.S. equivalent of Saga.

For what it is worth, Jamie Lee Curtis was born in 1958. Her daddy’s wife, Jill Vandenberg was born in 1971. I’ll bet she doesn’t call her ‘mommy’.

What the hell else is she going to do with them. Might as well make some money. Maybe Hillary will go next.

Nothing sexy about that picture. Excessively short hair on women is not sexy. Not coloring it is even worse.

Why is gray hair so bad?

“Why is gray hair so bad?”

It makes us look old. :-) Have you seen recent pics of Sarah Jane Olson, who obviously couldn’t color her hair in jail?

To the contrary — as a result of my own “advancing” years and previous profession - It was my pleasure to know a number of women in their “maturity”, since their husbands were my age..

Without the need of excessive “unnatural” procedures - I’ve seen a number of women from their 50s into their 70’s who remained truly beautiful...
Yes, BEAUTIFUL in appearance, personality and character..
Including my own patient, tolerant and sainted wife - who is “almost” 70.

Granted - these have been pampered women most of their lives due to their circumstances.....
But advanced age alone - does NOT diminish true beauty — of the inner or outer variety.

Are you kidding? Every 8-year-old girl needs to read this, cause by the time they’re teenagers it’s usually too late.

Pretty woman, but I’m interested in a mature woman who retains her beauty when she’s talking/living out of eye shot ... inner beauty is far more precious than the outward glitter. Now, why were we discussing Jamie’s pix?... Listen to a beautiful conservative woman like Rachel or Ann Maragret or Patricia Heaton or ‘Miss 10’, then toss the AARP liberalism magazine into the trash reagrdless of how much of Jamie is on the cover.

LOL...I still ‘do’ my own coloring. In the event of an evacuation, my stock pile of LOreal Excellance (great gray coverage for a mass market brand) and family photos go out the door at the same time:) Cause I’m worth it!!!

Why? Well, I'm guessing you are either male, or very young.

I come from a family of pre-mature grays. One or two Aunties were au naturale (no coloring for them). For the rest of us...well, we keep the chemical manufacturers in business. Seriously, I started going gray in middle school (just a strand or two). By HS my cool Aunt Cel got me 'started' and I have never finished coloring (and don't plan too). Just a choice :)

To show that 50 year old women can still be sluts (especially "stars" in Hollywierd!)

looks GREAT in a bikini and turns a LOT of heads when we walk through the mall.

I suspect most people would turn their heads if they saw someone else wearing a bikini in the mall.

Why is gray hair so bad?

Well, its not 'bad' its just 'aging.' I read a peice by Nora Ephron along time ago. She noted there are very, very few 'old people' walking the streets of NYC. How did she notice the lack of 'oldsters?' Well...for one, not alot of gray hair out there. Most woman (and some men) perpetuate the 'look' of middle age into their senior years by a trip to the colorist or even Wal-Mart's HBA aisles every so often. Hair coloring is the most economical way to stave off old age. Seriously. Its all perception...but I think if you look younger you feel younger.
