Ralph Nader, the bete noir of the Left, has proclaimed his candidacy.
Hillary is going so negative, shrill and sarcastic in her Ohio and Texas campaigning, it's only going to scare more voters and delegates to her opponent's side.

Hi Jem. Minus degree weather here this am. Brrrr!!
It was toward the end of b’ball practice on Wednesday and something happened, I know not what, and the youngest fell on her right ankle. A friend brought her home in their car instead of her driving the motorcycle home.
We ice-packed it all night but it was painfully obvious that she was not going to be able to play in the tourney that night.
The medical opinion was, wait and see. So no x-rays yet. She is hobbling around on crutches and her friends help her at school. We’re hoping that she’ll be able to begin play again maybe NEXT Saturday. The ankle is still swollen today, 48 hours after the injury, but she is able to put a tiny amount of weight on it. Orders are to “keep it propped higher than the heart.” For the most part she follows orders.
Come visit me. We’ll take the boat out to the outside beach very early in the morning. The dolphins will come frolick next to the outboard outrigger as we go around the point of the bay.
We’ll unload the gear and set up camp. Then we’ll snorkle to our hearts content. When we get tired of that, we’ll walk along the beach collecting pretty seashells or we’ll go trapesing through the woods enjoying the orchids and other wild flowers.
In the afternoon one of us will start a campfire and set a pot of water to boiling. While it is boiling the other will take a noose on a long pole and go back in the water to catch some lobster. When caught, that lobster will go straight out of the sea and into the boil. It doesn’t get any fresher than that.
Later, we’ll watch the sun set over the west point of our beach. We’ll sing songs around the campfire before we go to bed. The rythmic wash-wash of the waves will lull us to sleep.
Now, that sounds wonderful!

OK, here is my ‘happenings’ starting Tuesday. Go to New Orleans first thing, early, Tuesday morning and then sometimes during the day they are going to carve me up. Thank YOU ALL for your prayers and I am believing.
Good comes with bad, have dropped 31 pounds as of now since I got the news of the operation and am shooting for my ‘police years’ of 175 to 180 pounds, gonna reach that goal too. When I do my nickname will ge officially ‘slim’.
Needless to say, I am getting a little,,,,no little about it, concerned about the operation and am going to believe everything is going to be alright.
Just wanted to get in and tell you all thanks and I can truly, even if many, many miles separate us I am blessed with the best of the best friends, even if it is by one key on the computer at a time.

When my dad was your age he had major thoracic & abdominal surgery. I think he was afraid but he was always a humorist & told everyone about his upcoming “grand opening”
He did well & live for a decade afterward
