Easy.
They’re actually aliens form another dimension.
They suffer horrific overpopulation in their home dimension, so they came here instead.
Seeing something so horribly pathetic as humans, they set about conquering us.
After conquering us a couple hundred times, the novelty of it wore off.
So now they pretend to be cute and cuddly while making small attempts on our lives.

Serious thunder coming into my area.
Don’t think the theory will make it into book form.

"The next time your great SEC teams actually beat Michigan, then you might have something to say about your dominating conference, right? "

OK, precious :) Of course, a team first must play well enough to earn the priviledge of playing against an SEC team. ^.~

Well, let's see.

Past twenty years of records of Michigan vs SEC teams are:

Michigan 11 wins
SEC teams 2 wins

Last game was mighty Floriduh in 2008. Floriduh was lucky to be in the game and was generally humiliated (you may check the stats if you don't remember). So, I guess Michigan was "good enough" to play them, right? This was the same mighty SEC team that supposedly won the #1 slot in 2007, then 2009 (Utah was better). Floriduh lost to LSU in a squeaker the year they didn't win, LSU needing several fourth down plays to win in the last minute.

Proud to be a fan of our SEC dominating team. Facts about actual head to head games are terrible things that poor uber SEC fans, particularly catpoopy just can't deal with .........

a team first must play well enough to earn the privilege of playing against an SEC team.

You nailed it, Darlin'. Although the shark boy will puff and pout about "big" blue's ancient accomplishments, he knows the power of the SEC and is paralyzed by his anger and envy at the SEC's dominance of the BCS.

Such bitterness. And to think it all began with a shameful, whining plea for a "do-over" between two vastly overrated "big" 10 teams that had great press clippings but little else. If only boasts could tackle.

But back to the present. Seriously, Sharkey, which SEC team do you think will win the BCS Championship this year? It is a tough question indeed, there being so many fine SEC teams capable of winning it all. :>)

Bitter?

What's to be bitter about 11 out of 13? Or manhandling Floriduh? Or being a fan of the winningest program ever?

Oh, right, that would be the SEC fans....

I forgot about your side of the equation.

Enjoy the early bird specials and the bluehairs. And remember to pick out the crow feathers.....

Or being a fan of the winningest program ever

Congratulations. I suppose that when the only thing one has are distant memories of long ago glories, they become the substitute for present day achievements that exist only in the dreams and fantasies of a fragile and frostbitten mind. But sensing your grief, I offer the following

ODE TO "big" BLUE

So here's a toast to Fielding Yost and Mighty Michigan.
They used to win a lot of games but now they never can.*

*copyright 2009--catpuppy--and dedicated most humbly to Michigan's greatest fan, Lakeshark, whose total loyalty to a has been program must be inspiring to everyone who ever longs for the good old days of disco and leisure suits.

Well, at least I HAVE a program I root for. Trust me, crow feathers will fly out of your mouth daily as Michigan continually beats up on its hapless SEC opponents. I guess whupping poor Floriduh in 2008 is has been in your book, but their true fans still remember it with deep chagrin; it's so delightful reminding you of how depressing that was to you. You probably didn't even go to your early bird specials for at least 6 months....

:-)

Oh, how are those Georgia teams doing pup? Oh right, you only root for them if they win........and its been a looooong time since they have.......

Poor pup, 11-2 and it will only get worse in the years to come, so kindly remove those feathers from your mouth, they've been there way too long.............
