In another vein, may I also recommend his "How I Edited an Agricultural Paper." Unparalleled and always relevant, at least in capitalistic societies. Falling down funny--I once read it aloud in its entirety to some friends.

As you might have guessed, I have his complete short stories--apparently you've also found them on-line.

Please accept my apology--I gave you a bum steer. I really meant to refer you to Twain's "Political Economy." In it, he is writing a learned treatise, which is why my eye lighted upon "Edit[ing] an Agricultural Paper" in the Table of Contents.
