As I sit here at my work desk, the office is almost deserted. I love the peace and quiet for a few minutes before I move on to Christmas Eve festivities.
I just wanted to take a few minutes to wish everyone (yes, even the Ron Paul supporters) a very Merry Christmas! To those Freepers practicing another religion, I wish you Happy Holidays!
Tonight, more than any, I will be grateful for my health and sanity (although some fellow Freepers may be in doubt of the latter) and that of family. 2007 has been a tumultuous year in terms of family and I'm grateful for what's left.
I'm not an overly religious guy (I'm a semi-practicing Catholic) but I will be going to Mass later tonight and saying a few short prayers.
Everyone have a peaceful and relaxing Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas, a_d, and all my FReeper friends. We had to endure some air traffic nightmares this year (my niece got stuck in Paris for a while today), but everyone is almost where they belong as I type.
