Is there a standard procedure here for having a private conversation with a moderator?

So what is that like a crew of smiley face Icons jumping up and down passing the popcorn.

or maybe they're just lonely and want to chat privately with a moderator, ask for some advice about their problems, etc. heck, let's ask for a lapdance

Does Lead Moderator know that you have that photo? Lead Moderator’s super secret spy camera detector must not have been working that day.

[Private Chat With HAL9000] Thanks, I'll get busy on a perl script to copy them back to ya.
By the way, I think the next election will determine the fate of the moderators.
If Hillary Clinton wins, the moderators will be outsourced to India.
If John Edwards wins, the moderators will be sued for cruel and unusual zotting.
If Huckabee wins, the moderators will get paroled.
If Romney wins, the moderators will be replaced with androids.
If Giuliani wins, the moderators will rounded up and sent to a re-education camp.
If Fred Thompson wins, the status quo will be preserved.

"All right, HAL; I'll go in through the emergency airlock."

"Unfortunately that sounds a little like famous last words."
"Still it was HAL9000's idea to carry out the election analysis experiment. Should certainly indicate his integrity and self-confidence."

Just be careful hitting the abuse button. I hit it once and the moderator proceeded to post my comments in the forum. Or at least the general idea of it. Moral: Never use the Moderator as your sex counselor.

I thought it was Lead Moderator and Rhythm Moderator. Then you got a keyboard player and drummer too...

I think you should do the right thing and redirect that to Arthur McGowan.

To: Kurt Evans
Go back to sleep. Perhaps this insane compulsion to communicate with a moderator will leave you. It’s best if they don’t even know your name. Stay under the radar, if at all possible. Hope this helps.

Lead and Unleaded . . .
hmmmm
Are you trying to imply that all mods are
HIGH OCTANE?
—high Octavious
or
just high Oct . . . except when they aren’t?
I think I’m getting ridiculous. Maybe I should go back to bed.
