The Collapse Of The Soviet Union Was Staged

In 1984 a book was published with the title New Lies For Old. It was written by Soviet KGB defector Anatoly Golitsyn. The book claimed that the Soviet Union had a secret long-term strategy to disarm and defeat the United States through a controlled collapse of the Soviet empire that would take place in the last decade of the twentieth century. In the book's most remarkable chapter, titled "The Final Phase," Golitsyn accurately described the future of the Soviet bloc. Communism would give up its monopoly of power in Russia, he explained, as apparent freedom and democracy would be introduced. The communist Warsaw Pact alliance would be dissolved. The Berlin Wall might be taken down and Germany united as "the key to progress toward a neutral, socialist Europe"...

Gen. Chi Haotian of China’s Communist Party Central Military Commission, who said in 1999: “War [with American imperialism] is inevitable. We cannot avoid it.” He also explained, “We must be prepared to fight for one year, two years, or even longer.”

It wasn’t predicting the “collapse”, it was predicting precise events of the collapse that is interesting.

what isn’t run by communists is run by the Russian mafia

Which we all know is run 110% by "former" KGB high level officers.

To construe such facts about globalism as false . . .

I was pinging 1rudeboy to this post. This post is an assertion, not factual, in the true sense of the word.

Gobalism is real. It was evidently quite tenaciously advancing long before that—some say 400 years.

Actually, much longer than that. Remember that Alexander the Great told Diogenes that he would conquer the whole world before relaxing.

In any case . . . we now have a world economic system with the Biblical Mark of The Beast computer chip implant looming larger and larger.

According to your beliefs, all of this will come to pass, no matter what we do. If that is the case, what difference does it make if I make a little joke with my FRiend, 1rudeboy. And if your belief is false, then what difference does it make?

Wake up, toots.

OK, Quix, that was just rude. You and I have spoken before, and I have found you to be a friendly, soul loving person. Lately, you seem to be posting with a chip on your shoulder. Not very Christ-like if you ask me.

Why such anger from a person who claims to know, and fully trust, God?

Soooooooo,

what is your perspective . . . Have you been my unseen shadowing observer 1965-1969? And from then, to now?

I think NOT.

Therefore, you have not a shred of valid perspective from which to judge whether my comments about my study and job were deserved or undeserved.

Have you cornered the market on hubris?

Thankfully, I know what to do with hot air.

It wasn’t predicting the “collapse”, it was predicting precise events of the collapse that is interesting.

I guess I missed the part of the article where it outlines the precise events of the USSR collapse that he predicted.

If you're talking about "dissolving the Warsaw Pact", "maybe tearing down the Berlin Wall", etc., that doesn't really count in my view. Such predictions are not fundamentally different from the prediction "the USSR will fall", because the former would happen if the latter happened basically no matter what.

But if he predicted that - as part of the "plan",

-Russia would suffer an embarrassing defeat in Afghanistan

-the Chernobyl accident

-post-USSR Russia would be helmed by an embarrassing drunkard

-Russian prostitution and white slavery would skyrocket

-economists from Harvard would be flown in to Russia to engineer their new economy (and basically fail); political operatives from the U.S. would be flown in to run Western-style political campaigns for the drunkard (and succeed)

-the ruble would lose a few zeroes, wiping out the savings of the average person, during a time of financial panic characterized by the return of bread lines and collapsing pyramid schemes

-large numbers of Russians would emigrate to the U.S.

-vast amounts of Soviet capital would be in effect absconded with by guys like Berezovsky, who would then flee the country and live untouched by the Russian government

etc.

...then maybe I'd say he was onto something. I'd also say, however, "What a horrible, stupid plan!"

After all, if any Soviet operative really did "plan" and consciously put in place the basic outline of the post-USSR events that have taken place in Russia, they could, and probably would - rightfully - be branded as traitors to the people of Russia, and imprisoned or executed for the damage, harm, and pain they have inflicted on vast numbers of ordinary Russian people. In fact we couldn't have invented a better "plan" for defeating them had we tried.

Many Russians probably indeed think that's what happened!

No anger. Wasn’t trying to be rude at all, actually.

Certainly don’t want any chip on my shoulder.

I have gotten wearier and wearier of folks who seem so hell bent on closing their eyes to so many brazen realities “hidden” in plain sight.

But I should not get so wound up about it.

I think it does make a difference whether the watchman cries the alarm or not. It certainly makes a difference in terms of discharging his responsibilities. But for those who listen, it make a difference too.

Thanks for your kind exhortation. Will take to heart. Not sure how evident that will be.

Blessings to you and yours this Christmas season.

Irony.

“They are relentless in their efforts to rewrite history, twist the language to suit their needs, and lie cheat and steal to gain power.”

It is necessary if they are to succeed. Most Americans are too comfortable and distracted to even get a glimmer of the machinations.

Weary?
Weary, I understand.
;-)

Smile Quix. You see the faith you have, coming true, and if it does, and you should be happy. Rejoicing, actually.

I know I would be if I had your faith. After all, it's God's will.

It certainly makes a difference in terms of discharging his responsibilities.

Dear Quix, that just sounds like guilt. It's not your job to run the universe, and I doubt God expects that of you.

Thanks for your kind exhortation. Will take to heart.

I like you Quix. Sometimes I read one of your posts, and it makes me stop and think.
I always figure that is a good thing. :-)

Perhaps, the world is a stage, and we all have our parts to play.

More good wisdom.

Thanks again.

Though regarding being a watchman . . . Scripture is clear . . . if he warns . . . and listeners are lost—their blood is on their own hands. If he doesn’t warn and lives are lost, he has blood on his hands. I take that quite seriously.

True, it is awesome to see Biblical prophecies coming true increasingly with every weekly news cycle, or so.

The Annapolis conference . . . yet another [probably futile at this point] step toward the world ruler arriving on the scene and making a false peace for 3.5 years.

Folks don’t stop and think—why is insignificant Israel such a focus of world ire and attention. . . . just as Scripture predicted.

Anyway—Much appreciate your kind words and wishes.

Blessings,

It could explain Putin’s vehement objection to anti-missiles in Poland, some of the ‘Stans.
He’s not worried about stray incomings, he is concerned about his outgoing.==

The explanation is simple. ABM may serve as the great help to fend off the Russian weakered answer after NATO first strike.

I side with those who scoff at this idea, but in a sense it’s not important whether or not this assertion is true.

What’s important is that we successfully counter the anti-American and anti-West policies of Putin.

It doesn’t much matter if those policies are part of a long-range commie plot or part of a new Russian-mafia surge for power and control.

What matters is that our response is coherent and based on rational long-term goals.

That means, among other things, continuing our buildup of an anti-missle system, its deployment in Eastern Europe and (hopefully) doing something to get our country on-track towards energy independence (through drilling domestic oil and building nuclear power plants).

Whether or not Putin is a new-style enemy of America or an old-style one, isn’t all that important.
