Wow. A Led Zeppelin tour would rake in some serious $$$$.

I would love to see them again. The one and only time I saw them was around '76-'77. I didn't find them to be all that great in concert, but it's being able to say you were there that matters, I guess.

Go here to see Jimmy Page playing Dazed And Confused in the Yardbirds before there was a Led Zeppelin group.

Go here to hear/see Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton (of the Yardbirds) play Stairway To Heaven before there was a Led Zeppelin Group.

Didn’t care for them then, abdo-lutely no interest now. Never could handle the screeching vocals. Made my ears hurt! Much rather see Jeff Beck again, or the Mothers, even without Frank!

Left pinky finger? No Stairway, denied! (You need to use that finger to play the intro.)

"Been a long time since I rock and rolled. Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time."

Most excellent (as I look at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum from my office window here.)

Just as long as Plant keeps his 45-60 min mandatory acoustic re-arrangements out of it..we might be in for a treat. However, will it challenge the precision and power that a band from the same era still brings to the table year after year? Answer: - Probably Not

they usually lack in concert but I would like to see this one

one last time

some old bands really do well....Lynyrd Skynyrd performs as well now as ever actually

with 3-4 old members and Van Zandt the younger....they are very good.

The Eagles...lefty bastards they are except Walsh.....still do very well.

Pink Floyd would if they would quit squabbling.

Iggy Pop....still hell on wheels.

Don’t know about Daltry and Townsends latest endeavor....Pete can sure play and Daltrey can still sing some but now without the Ox...greatest rock bassist ever no question....WHO knows?

I saw Social Distortion recentlyand while they are about 15 years newer than these guys, they are still 40 somethings and quite good.

Dickey Betts has a hard time singing but he still plays effortlessly.

I saw the original Black Sabbath on some Brit TV awards show last year and they kicked ass...incredible.

old rock is a strange bird.

I’m still waiting for Gilmour and Waters to grow up and put Floyd back together. Their Live 8 show proved that they still have it.

I sat and talked with John Paul Jones in 1977 when they were in town for the concert. he offered me back stage passes. called me the next day to apologize and tell me he couldn’t do that for me.

Nice to talk to sweet....

I didn’t know who I was talking to til afterwards cause my parents wouldn’t let me listen to any rock and or roll, EVER.
