Political Correctness On Display In Washington As U.S. House Passes First-Ever Resolution Honoring Islam and Ramadan
An Important Message from Brigitte Gabriel
Dear David,
For the first time ever, the U.S. House of Representatives, on a 376 0 vote, passed a resolution honoring the Islamic holiday Ramadan and commending Muslims for their faith.
Congressman Tom Tancredo, one of 42 voting present, in a press release after the vote cited the resolution as "an example of the degree to which political correctness has captured the political and media elite" in America. He further stated: I am not opposed to commending any religion for their faith. The problem is that any attempt to do so for Jews or Christians is immediately condemned as breaching the non-existent line between Church and State by the same elite. /snip (continued in the Body of Comment)
That bears reading once again: "During this time of conflict, in order to demonstrate solidarity with and support for members of the community of Islam in the United States and throughout the world..." "Demonstrating solidarity" with the enemy. My own country has capitulated behind my body armor.

If I were Commander in Chief I would say it too. But I'm not, so I can say what I actually think.
But Mr President, just how exactly have they done that?
I take this as necessary booschwa from the President as he doesn't want to have to kill one billion muslims, which nonetheless may have to be done at some time in the future.
Every President gives speeches like that. They likely hold their noses, but they do it. We don't like it (I don't) but it's part of Politics...
CONgre$$critter$ best check HERE, lest they miss someone.
This exercise should keep them so busy they will not have time to vote on anymore fascist/socialist/communist laws!

From now on I’m calling it the House of Reptiles
Paul voted for it.
Twenty percent of Republicans vote present on Ramadan resolution (Ron Paul voted Yea)
The resolution recognized the Islamic faith as one of the great religions of the world, rejected hatred, bigotry and violence directed against Muslims, both in the United States and worldwide

Coward. If you don't like it, vote "No."
What crap. You should have voted no, then. You're trying to weasel out of saying what you apparently really think.
OTOH, since a courtesy resolution by no stretch of the (rational) imagination "establishes a religion," I find that either Mr. Pence is an imbecile, or a prevaricator, or both.
What nitwittery.
