A 31-year-old Latino man surrendered in connection with the execution-style killings of three college students in New Jersey, officials said.
Jose Carranza, 31, whose fingerprint was lifted from a bottle, turned himself in on Thursday afternoon.
Mayor Cory Booker earlier had announced a $150,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Carranza, who they say has three prior arrests and one pending trial.
On Wednesday night, police arrested a 15-year-old Hispanic boy, who along with Carranza is charged with murder, attempted murder, robbery, weapons offenses and conspiracy to commit the crime of robbery, Essex County Prosecutor Paula Dow said.
We believe that others were involved in this heinous crime, she said.
The sole survivor of Saturday night's shootings, 19-year-old Natasha Aeriel, provided information from her hospital bed after being shot in the head. Ping.
Yup I know the feeling. I am stuck here too. I hate the corrupt BS and the d@mn taxes. Its always been home to me & I can’t leave here for quite some time. I am in Ocean County & the traffic is killing me. I leave here when I can & go down south where we can ride & have a summer trailer. I find the New Gretna area much quieter & safer so far. Have a great weekend! ~Pandora~

3 Dead in Execution-Style Killings in Newark (NJ)
Those fine people standing behind that weasel on the mike should start cleaning that town up on their own.
They can start by perp marching the weasel outside to the nearest tree and hanging him until the buzzards are done with him.
“Alas I am stuck in a state controlled by libs, so it ain’t hap’nin”
I live in Vegas... VERY liberal ideas... but we usually vote conservative with the exception of our biggest embarrassment and pain in our arse.... Harry Reid.
If hispanics murder blacks, is it a hate crime?
Phooey!
I am in Warren County up north. I have to drive toward Newark to go to work. 45 miles of bumper to bumper....ARGH!
There’s a poster on NJ.com who it was an attempted rape of the victim that survived. Her friends tried to intervene and they were executed. She was shot in the face and left for dead. She said there were 5 hispanics in all. The poster claims to know the family. Have you heard about any of this?
One person who won’t be going to Disneyland anytime soon. Looks like such a nice guy too.
Is he illegal?? (rhetorical question)
Whatever he is, he’ll now be eligible for permanent residency, three square meals a day, free medical and dental care, unlimited use of the law library, free legal representation, and lots of hand wringing by liberal pundits about his unhappy childhood and struggle to improve himself under a system that exploits poor migrants.
In a more sane society, he would be taken out immediately and shot.
And he does look evil, like he’d pop someone in a second, with no thought.
LOL! You, sir, are too funny!

. . .ad nausea.
According to Fox news, we now know for sure, he is illegal, and that fact was known when he committed previous crimes.
Maybe we need to keep bombarding Chertoff with reminders that he is not looking out too well for US citizens.
