I suspect Fred is waiting for ear and eye pollution to hit the voters before he throws his hat into the ring.
Although I noticed that “someone” is already complaining about the money he has raised so far. Without even trying! LOL!

Huh. Thanks! $15 for a replacement. That’s acceptable. But for now I’ll just wait.

I gotta go. I have a busy day tomorrow, and want to squeeze in some time with my grandson, who is home on leave.
Since I’m leaving Friday, I don’t think I’ll see him before he has to go back.
Y’all be good!

I shop there and so does one of my friends. He pays half what Radio Shack wants for the same battery.

"I thought it was a lunar eclipse?" You are correct. I just drove down the local highway and had a big beautiful full moon swim into view.
Outside of Hollywood, and "Out to Sea", there's no way that moon is going to be able to get between the Earth and the Sun in one day. It would take at least two weeks.
The eclipse will be a lunar eclipse, very early in the morning, East Coast time.
Still, it gives everyone a chance to note that the shadow of the Earth is round, as it covers the moon. Proof that the world is spherical.

I'm sorry to say that Kim Jong Il's persona on Free Republic is as dead as Phil Collins's career or sense of dignity.Ahh, it can't be as bad as all that; the poster's account is still "live", though they haven't been heard from in ages. Did they croak and forget to opus out, beforehand??

Proof that the world is spherical.Spheroid. Oblate, to be precise.
Very nearly spherical, but gravitationally prevented from achieving such, with a slight protuberance to one side. A common chicken egg would make a good, albeit quite "ex-egg-erated," 3D model of the form.
Rats.
This whole ___oid thing is just wrong.
I get into this odd mental state where I think things like this:
If 'Preparation H' relieves problems with hemorrhoids, should the great Wall of China be 'Preparation M'?
I'm ROFLOL, but it's probably totally obtuse. That or it'll just hang there in the atmosphere until next weekend when you'll burst out laughing in church.
You're headed for space, and you've packed your 'Preparation H' in case of hemorrhoids, but what will you do in case of asteroids? And -- Extra for Experts -- could they be the same thing? And would that, then, mean the treatment strategy for them would be the same: cream 'em??
TECH TIP: Never transfer large amounts of data to a remote machine via VPN. The recursive error checking and encryption/decryption cycles will KILL your throughput (try 100+min/GB). Go ftp if you've at all got the choice.

Isaac Asimov postulated that because the moon was so large, and so close, that it seemed obvious to him the world was “pair-shaped”.

Gee, I’m not sure I remember MINE! Yikes! I totally rely on the cached cookie to get me in, all the time.
Failing that, though, is there a “forgot my password” entry method, or not? I’ve never checked.

You can change your password to one that is easier to remember.
Without being able to get in, however, you would have to rely on the charity of the gatekeeper to reinstate you.
Some people just walk away, rather than humble themselves.
