You can change your password to one that is easier to remember.

Without being able to get in, however, you would have to rely on the charity of the gatekeeper to reinstate you.

Some people just walk away, rather than humble themselves.

Morning, gents. That was all very confusing.

I use the same password for everything I do, so I can always remember it. The only major exception is USPS.gov, which has tricky password rules that exclude my usual password. I had to write down my username and password, so I didn’t have to start over every time I wanted to order stamps.

I'm sure you're referring to those who have to write down their many passwords, of which I am not one. My mind is like a steel, uh, something-or-other...You know what I mean!
