I’m sure it will be fun to see people you’ve known forever!

Yes, and a lot of them are my cousins! I thought they were just school pals, but as I got into genealogy, I realized how many of them are related to me!

THAT’s fun!

That is interesting! My grandmother’s ancestors settle in NE Missouri in the 1850’s, so most everyone in the general area is our relative if you go far enough back.

My neighbor in Tucson, was curious about his lineage, so I chased it down. Come to find out, our lines meet up at the Mayflower. Two brothers married two sisters.

That was a lot of fun for both of us to find out. Of course, at that point, the rest was easy, because the line(s) went straight into the Royalty.

I think my maternal grandfather was from NE MO. I’ll have to check that again. I think I’ve got it all on the hard drive.

LOL!

The Royalty is pretty interesting. Every once in a while, I’ll read a novel or some other book that has some tidbit about one of my royal ancestors, and I put the book in with the Family Search stuff, with the pages marked.

It’s SO much fun to search.

I have it on good authority that sitting for an appreciable length of time with one’s finger immmersed in any alcoholic beverage of 180 proof or higher — whether stirring it or not — leads to inebriation via transdermal migration of the alcohol into the bloodstream.

Would that work with rubbing alcohol? And how long is an “appreciable length of time”?

Yep. Some days, it goes like that.

It’s 101 and 19%, and the computer says it “feels like” 98. NOT!!! If you’re used to 5%, this stuff is miserable! “Air you can wear!”
